You know how I've gone nuts at you in the past over impulse purchases?
I thought some medical tests related to my pneumonia were going to go horribly wrong, and Mr HBS wouldn't want me anymore...and I had everything in place to essentially impulse-buy a flat :rotfl:
What a plonker I am. All is well (as I knew deep down it would be!) and now I have to cancel a mortgage...!
HBS x

Just showing off again now, Gally.Well we sort of thought it was quite a good idea in theory to buy another house for Mr GG's brother to live in...... found a repo and bought it in less than three weeks without really stopping to assess the situation. Completely mucked up our plans financially but has worked out for the best :T.
Everything done in three weeks? Wow, that's impressive. :T2018 totals:

I accidentally bought a house too, it happens! I only wanted to buy the 6-acre field at the other end of the village to it, but the executors insisted they wouldn't sell the two crofts separately and the other croft came with a three-bedroom house on it.0

We actually completed while we were on holiday in Spain.cazmanian_minx wrote: »I accidentally bought a house too, it happens!
