Have also stuck to my diet again... no cheating at all. Which is quite unusual for me.
Spent today making potato soup so having that for tea. Going to start having it every day for lunch as it is a very small amount of calories for something really filling.
Erm... not really anything else to report. Have put my pennies into my secret stash so that is now at £150.
Hope everyone is doing okay. Keep on Marching Turtleys.

Good day. Ivy was chopped first thing and spent 1/2 hour this afternoon chopping it small to fill the bin. Had a little rest then got ready for infirmary visit. Walked it in a shorter time, dropped off library books, another bag for the charity bin and finally a bottle of ood medicine handed in at the pharmacy. All blood test results excellent, little pills are working.
Thank you so much for the de-cluttering challenge thriftylass. It is as though I needed permission to let go of things. Took another bag this afternoon and contents for the next are prepared (a casserole dish needed a good wash or that would be gone too).
Rooted through a pile of stationery this afternoon and earlier put several 2l plastic bottles into the recycling bin - I keep seeing pictures of bottle greenhouses (needs lots of bottles) and bottle tower gardens (more feasible) but realistically it is going to take a while to knock the yard back into shape (still lots of ivy to do). Then when I am ready (next month or the one after) I need to bring some of the larger containers from the other house (one by one, on the dolly truck) and there won't be much room for anything else.
I am up to 230 items de-cluttered (196 this week) and there is lots to go. just a little worried about where it will end - I will probably be able to live in a garden shed when I have finished.
Today I am grateful for good test results, for a lovely hm lunch and for letting go.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage0 -
Hello Turtles!!
Good luck skintdragon. I am hoping to pay off my DMP by the end of the year but now I am in it I wish I had looked at the snowball method! 20 months is really quick.
I have had the worst head cold the past few days so whilst it is good to keep me indoors after work I had to buy soup for this evening cause I am took tired and sick to cook.
Also whilst work paid my lunch yesterday (SFD) as it was my first day, today my colleagues wanted to take me out again!!! And meant I had to pay for my lunch!!! So annoying! It cost me £6 but I couldn't bring my own food to the restaurant.
Also I have ordered my season ticket from work but I won't be allowed to purchase it until the end of the month! So until then I have decided to get the bus to and from work - it doubles my travel time to just over an hour but saves me £2.80 a day.
I can't breathe with my headcold so exercise is on the back burner but work have given me gym membership so hopefully I can start at the gym next week.
Am excited for March though - also love seeing the new faces on the forum!NST March #13: NSD 6/13, Travel £25/£40, Social £6/£200, Food £25/£60, Exercise 2/15

 Hello everyone!
NSD 3 for me as I was allowed to reclaim days 1 and 2 - yay! Sorted through a cupboard in my kitchen and binned an old baking tray which has lost the non-stick.
Just got both boys in bed and settled so snuggled up on the sofa with a glass of wine.
Night all x0 -
NSD #3 in the bag - yay! It makes me look forward to my spendy ones all the more.
My me-time is ensuring I read a real book - this reduces my screen time, and is somerging Ilove doing.
I hsve kondo-ed all the bed linen and it is now stored in sets inside the relevant pillowcases. 2 full srts to goto charity, 2 pillowcases claimed by dd and 1 duvet cover repurposed as bunny material. Soooo excited to start cutting it up!
Today I am grateful for chats with colleagues, for lovely pupils, for a call from mil, for being able to help my neighnour, for keeping to healthy eating.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -
Well done so far turtles on the decluttering, debt paying and SFDs. Keep it going! You're all doing great and I hope the ones that feel poorly are better soon.
OH is not going away tonight which meant I only just finished cooking dinner, doing the dishes etc. No energy left for decluttering. Grrrr. Need to think about some less time and dishes consuming dinners for the next few days so I can catch up on the decluttering.
A lot of eBay items are nearly finished but it doesn't look good. Some were relistings and had about 4 watchers each as before but noone bought. Might have to reduce the prices.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Hi guys...
Sorry I have been absent. It has been a bit tough juggling very sick child with everything else. I've had 2 SFD's and one very spendy one. Medicines, washing stain removers and food that will decimate my budget with zilch to show for it just for *ease of making*
Haven't told YNAB yet, so am just going to do that, then update my sig and jump in the shower and then I am going to bed. Am pooped.
Today I made two lemon cakes, made lemon buttercream frosting and iced one, then made a chocolate fudge cake with shedloads of buttercream topping. MiL's birthday tomorrow and she is coming as she is alone. Have wrapped presents, written cards, scrubbed and scrubbed and scrubbed again the house and completely emptied and restarted my kitchen in a different order. All whilst carrying a poorly 3 year old around when she wasn't sleeping. Poor mite. Gastroenteritis says the doc, nothing to do except give her boiled water. She is finally turning the corner.
Anyways... not managed to catch up very well. Love to everyone. Plonk me on the naughty step for my unforgivable spending on food, and I will figure a way to stretch it all.xx
