Opened account on 18th May, and all documentation received OK, but no card reader as yet. I Hope it comes soon as i need to set up some standing orders!!

Any idea how long it should take, before i start to chase? Has only just been 7 working days.
How's it going, AKA, Nutwatch? - 12 month spends to date = 3.24% of current retirement "pot" (as at end December 2025)

Can't say how long it will take, but assuming you have your debit card, a card reader from another bank will probably work ;)

Yes my Barclays card reader works fine with my NW card as I'm sure others will too.

Just a quick question, my mum went through topcashback.co.uk to get the Flex Account from Nationwide (she already has a Flex Direct not opened through TCB) but she did not log in and had to enter all her details again. Will they still show the account on her existing online banking? I ask because she was asked to provide memorable information during the application.

    In my experience, yes.

I got a second set of log in details sent, but just ignored them and used the originals.

Superb. :T If I'm honest, it was my fault for not reminding her to log in. Lesson learned for when I apply for mine. :rotfl: Thanks again.

And SOs (to avoid protest from the Apostrophe Protection Society who now do T-shirts. I would get myself one but I hate those close-neck ones. If at least they'd do a V-neck)

I didn't realise the apostrophe was an endangered species.

In fact, it seems to be flourishing in all the wrong places - a bit like Japanese knotweed :p
