Tiles are looking lovely Lilty. :) There's still a bit to do yet, but I can get on with grouting the bit that's done.
I spent £13 ish on a super-easy grouting tool and sponge in Wickes at lunchtime, so will crack on with that tonight if I have time.

Never dabbled with spotify, but will take a looky at it. :D

Good idea with the timer Stepup, I may try that!
Yes, I have a DAB in the kitchen and a bluetooth speaker thingy in the lounge, but would love a combination of both for upstairs. Will have to save my pennies. ;)

I have a couple of orders to do tonight and then I'd like to crack on with the grouting, although I'm thinking it may be better to leave that until Thursday when I'm child-free for the evening and have nothing else planned...

I've also updated the debt in my signature. It's gone up, thanks to the sofa purchase, but that doesn't bother me presently as I know I will soon be taking chunks off it again with the sale of the bits of furniture I decide to get rid of. I've paid off £900 of it within a month and it will be well over £1100 gone by the end of the month, so I'm more than happy with that.

Now I need to concentrate on attacking it, little bit by bit as I did with my previous debt a few years ago. I found it very motivating to see it coming down, no matter how small the payments were.
I have earmarked quite a few bits for ebay/local selling pages, so anything earned there will come straight off the debt for starters.

Good idea leaving the grouting for an evening alone. Whack that radio up and sing along. ;) will keep your brain from overworking itself and give you some exercise too. Just remember to sponge as you go because it is nightmare to get off if you don't!! ;) xx

Thanks lilty, yep, I decided to leave it until Thursday when I have the day off. :)

Well, Having said I was being saintly with my diet today, I forgot about the leftover Indian I had in the fridge for dinner :o. But apart from that, I've been good.... I couldn't just throw a whole foil dish full and veggie side dish out now could I?! :)

Am pretty pleased with the tasks I've managed to get done tonight. I've made, printed and wrapped all my outstanding orders; sorted out the big trunk full of eBay and charity stuff I had put aside and photographed all the bits I intend to sell, emailing them to myself at work so I can list them at lunchtime tomorrow.
I've listed 3 things on gumtree and have bagged the charity shop stuff and some of ds's old clothes for his school who have asked for any donations to keep spare for the 'littlies'.

I've cooked a whole head of cauliflower & some carrots that needed using up to use some for dinner tomorrow and possibly freeze the rest. I've split and frozen (in batches) a loaf of bread I bought and mine and ds's lunchboxes are ready to go.

Now all that's left to do is jump in the shower then climb in my bed for an earlyish night.

    Goodnight all

Ahhhh, but when I say 'packed my lunchbox' I mean put some bread in a bag to make toast for lunch :)
:rotfl: in my defence, there's lots of fruit and yoghurt in there too. :)

Showered, hair dried, in my bed and have written a list of tasks to achieve on/by my day off on Thursday. It's kinda long, but achievable, and I'll be glad once some of the bits on there are done as they're things that I've been meaning to do for a while but have yet to get chance. :)

Thought I might start the day with a picture today...

this is the shelf I HAD to buy last week and has brightened up my hallway no end. :D I took a few hooks off from underneath it (which have been re-used as plant pot hangers on a fence in my garden ;)) and have used it to display some of O's most precious artwork from when he was at nursery and some other bits and pieces which mean something to me. Am super-pleased with it. :)

That shelf is gorgeous and I need one right right RIGHT now. I love the stuff you have on it. SO gorgeous!!

And no it wouldn't be right to waste indian ;) I have just emptied my desk drawer of crisps, kit-kat chunky's and belvita to take home for Him :( sniff.

Oh, that must've hurt Lilty... :( Mind you, I'm just amazed you had a drawer full of treats, if I sat here knowing my drawer was full of such goodies I'd be trying to climb in it - they wouldn't last a day with me! Although you can keep the belvitas, I can't eat them. They remind me of when O was a baby and we were admitted to hospital because he was poorly with his reflux and a septic throat, at the same time as horrific family things were going on 300 miles away - that's all I had to eat for days and I haven't been able to face them since. :( Horrible times I don't wish to remember.

Think the shelf is actually a jewellery hangy-thing, but it's much happier as a shelf in my house :) plus I don't really do jewellery...

Just inhaled my lunch - tinned tomatoes on (laughing moo) cheesy nimble bread. Yummy. I have the veg to use up tonight which I'll probably cook some low fat ww sausages to go with it.. I'm forcing myself to cook food for myself evenings atm, or trying to. It was getting to be toast overload...:o

Just had a call from sofa delivery man who called me 'Duck' 5 times which made me smile. :) Sofas are coming between 7am - 9am tomorrow which means I should have the whole day free to get on with things once they've arrived. :D

I was supposed to be going to the cinema with a friend tomorrow night, but there's only the late showing on which we're both not keen on, so have cancelled it. Not too fussed though as I didn't really want to spend the money and means I have the evening to get the grouting done too. We'll probably go next week instead which will be after payday.

Oh, have listed 4 things on ebay, nothing of great value, but every little bit will help and will clear some space. :)
