A box of 30 is 30 single wears. How you wear them id up to you so yes yours will last you 30 weeks if you are only wearing them one day a week

Although you may find like I do that driving in them isnt the most comfortable experience in the world. At night I much prefer glasses
  • Has anyone ordered lenses from eurolens ? I ordered some and got a good price, unfortunately when they were delivered I had to pay a customs fee of £20 as they were shipped from US. This means I paid as much as I would have in a high street store. I complained to them and they said it is listed on the website that they are a US company. Very annoying !!!

Don`t suppose you know anywhere that stocks Clariti cheaper than £37.99, I had a look the other day and from what I can see you can only get direct from an optician..

    Hi There
Currently I get my Clariti 1 day lenses from Vision Express £34 a month for 30 pairs. Have made enquiries locally and Specsavers have said to me they'd do their Umere own brand lenses for £30 per month. The Contact Lens manager phoned HO and said they were made by Sauflon and were the same lens. Was going to do a trial of the Umere's to see how they compare, then need to decide whether the £4pm saving is worth moving from Vision Express......

    Hi,
I've tried the Ciba vision dailies and the acuvue moist. Didn't like the first lot but managed with the acuvue ones... now I'm aware that my astigmatism is pretty fierce and the acuvue ones were able to get closer to my specific weirdness.

I have my prescription but my question is; if I want to try monthly lenses is that possible? Is it best to get the opticians to check the fit? Should I have check ups on whatever lenses I pick; and how often?

And as regards daily lenses, should I stick to the acuvue moist ones which might be expensive but which I know I can wear?

    Thank you for any advice!

  • Has anyone ever purchased contacts lenses from a company called LensCity.co.uk ? These guys turned up very high in a google search I did for 12 pairs of Bausch & Lomb Purevision lenses.

Due to the .co.uk address and the UK postal address given on the site I assumed that they were standard UK suppliers.

    LensCity.co.uk
    Mayfair House
    14-18 Heddon Street
    Mayfair London W1B 4D

But after I ordered, two alarm bells starting ringing. They didn't ask for a prescription as per the law. And the order was fulfilled by:

    O3 Optika Ltd.
    City: Budapest
    Address: Szepvolgyi ut 49-61.
    1037 Hungary

    TAX No: HU13459576
    Company registration no: 01-09-736310

This maybe because I asked them to post the lenses to France, but I'm not sure, so very interested in anyone elses experience.

The lenses did arrive after quite a long wait, but I'm paranoid I've bought counterfeit or somehow substandard lenses...?

I guess Hungary is part of the EU so trade is perfectly legal and EU duty is paid. Just wished they'd made it more clear before I started. Price was lower than anyone else by about £10-15, but on reflection I think I'd prefer the peace of mind of a UK supplier.

    Any thoughts?

    Regards,
    Scott

As you've guessed, that London address is just a mail forwarding service.
  • Does anyone know what briand the specsavers daily disposables in a black box are? When I looked, I coudnt see any name or information other than the prescription.

hi - has anyone switched from Focus Dailies Aquacomfort plus to the Daysoft 58? I'm keen to switch because they are SO MUCH cheaper, but wondered if anyone had experience before I took the plunge?
