Got myself a contact lense test, and 30 days for £90
I think its a bit too much.
They offered me the accure ones, with stigmatism (tirax)
Can i get these for less?0 -
depends exactly what you are getting for that price, is that just for lenses, or does it include a sight test and/or contact lens fitting and follow-up appointments?Got myself a contact lense test, and 30 days for £90

Also not entirely sure what lenses you have been offered, are they daily disposables? possibly Acuvue for astigmatism (toric)?Wiggly:heartpulsFB0 -

Hi
Does anyone know of any free or special offer contact lens assessments on at the moment? My prescription is just about to expire, so need a new one and a new supply of lenses.
I've looked at the websites of the major ones like Tesco, Specsavers, D&A but no-one seems to have any offers on.
Many thanks in advance.0 -
Specsavers do a free trial all the time I think if you get your lenses on their monthly payment plan. I thought I saw an advert for Boots recently for a free trial and might have been a free eye test aswell, but not sure and cant remember where I saw it, might be worth ringing them.0

D&A have a free assessment offer on - it's all over their website. However, this is for the assessment, NOT a check up which is £45!!!!0

Acuvue Moist users might like to know that they've just come down in price on Vision Express's Contact7 monthly DD plan - £32 a month for 30 pairs and all aftercare/eyetests included.
I actually changed up to them from the Focus Dailies as it's much better value and they're a lot more comfortable (for me).0 -
Anyone used Asda for contact lenses? I can get my lenses for 50% less than my local optician.0
