Hello I am back, slightly poorer but v happy after lots of activities with my family. Weather warm here 30 degrees but not as boiling as at my parents. I walked round with buckets to water plants this morning many plants have not made it but some have. I have decluttering to do in store room but cant do it whilst my parents are here. I am planning to take it easy today.

Loads of people are travelling abroad, i cant afford it but the heat has been like abroad here. I am going to limit my Christmas spending on presents  this year  due to the energy bills which are ridiculous.

  • Welcome home SW it sounds like you have had a lovely break. Rest when you can in this heat. Decluttering can wait until next week when it is forecast to rain & be cooler

Grab an iced coffee later this evening when it cools down, put your sunglasses on and sit outside, give the illusion of being abroad and have some music playing quietly in the background.

    Take it easy and rest.

Thank you ladies, i only have one week left of my hols we had less time this year (no idea why). I've watered my garden with watering can only did the main plants eg tomato and beans, a tiny bit in pots. For the rest of the day I will be chilling & decluttering shelves in store room. It wont take long but i am taking my time as tired.

I will see if i can find anything to list too.

The way i see it is if i am busy i wont be spending money!!!

  • Take it easy SW and make sure you drink plenty to keep yourself hydrated. It’s surprising how much the heat takes out of you & it makes me feel really tired too

Hope you find some stuff to list. If you can get some money back it will make you feel better parting with stuff. Can you list the unwanted xmas pressies you mentioned earlier or regift them to someone else?

Eb*y didn't work out ( I was offered a good deal where i payed less to e*ay if i posted and sold any items but I didn't realise the offer was over in 24 hours), I still haven't listed the pic and the offer is over now!  Let's hope they send me a new one!

So far i haven't done much. I have used feed and weed in readiness for the rain and  and sorted weeds also put some strulch down.  Sunny here but not as warm as the new usual of 29 degreees so i am happy.

Right hurrah for the first time in ages it has rained.  The ground is soaked which is fab and the sun has just come out. The plan for today is to go for a walk and then do lesson work.

OK dont laugh, remember i got rid of my old cross dresser before lockdown as it was cluttering the kitchen? I regretted it as i put on weight as i didnt  go out in lockdown & ate everytime i had a work email. lol.

...... Well, a funny thing happened :D:D , ....a bargain cross dresser was advertised last night for £40 and the lovely man is delivering it for free. I am so chuffed. That leaves me with £150 for the month for food and fun!!! Other than one trip to the New Forest i am staying in and will use the cross dresser so i can get thin and fit into my lovely clothes again and breathe at the same time. Any extra spending will go on the credit card but i will be v strict.

    Onwards and upwards my friends.

  • I am glad you had some rain. The gardens certainly need it. We had a bit but not enough to wet the ground or fill up the local pond. Good luck with your exercise plans. When is your new equipment arriving?

We had a few days of rain, which the gardens needed.

Take the email frustration out on your new equipment as you'll soon clock up miles on it 🤗
