Hurrah, i have started writing lessons. Hurrah. No way i can do all i had planned to but i will do this part to a high standard for the next 3 weeks. I will be doing a few hours a day when i travel next week too.
We have just been paid, my money has gone up by £10 a month! No direct debits have gone out yet My credit card bill is mahoosive (550+500) for last month and for this month but i have eaten out and met up with most of my friends. After this is paid I have £300 left for food and fun. I will not be going out when term starts so this is my 6 weeks of going mad!
I wonder how people will manage with the energy cost rises? The figures look really frightening. I am so grateful to have a job and really worried about the rises. I have sold a necklace on ebay and will post it on Monday.

Just sorted home insurance, thank you Martin Lewis, only £103. Now going to have a cup of tea and do some work. We are hoping for rain as garden is looking a bit dry i have been watering beans and tomatoes though. Both are delivering lovely food which i am eating daily.Aiming for a minimal spend 20221

That's a good price for your home insurance.
There's been a change to the personal allowance or tax, but it makes a nice little bonus.
Well done writing the lessons, you seem happier in this job and are edging towards a better work / life balance.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Thanks ladies, yes i have one water butt. I wont be here as i will be visiting my parents in two days so wont mind too much about the ban! MF Andy explained as i didnt realise my wages have gone up by £30 a month. That is a lot more than i expected. lol I did a 3 mile walk this morning and am tired. I think my clothes are getting looser but much more needs doing. I have done a few hours of lesson prep today.
I am going to put a huge pile of books into a pile ready to give to charity and will drop them off via taxi when i catch train later in the week. That's a bit of decluttering done! I have done a money calculator thing of what will happen to my bill for gas/electric, it looks like it will go up by almost £100 a month from October, we will get some extra money from work but i am not sure when.
(I will make sure i only save for xmas presents and buy nothing else apart from food from Oct onwards).
