Hey, the Swan is back!
Pleased to hear you've had a good time, and how lovely of your family, obviously they are enjoying spoiling you a bit... Yes, the post-holiday, oh Gawd-I-have-to-go-back-to-work blues... sigh... as my old Dad says 'think of the money'... and some of it can always be tucked away for future hols.

Hello, Irene, Indeed I have decided that I will save some every month towards my garden as well as xmas and holidays. I might be buying a perfume tomorrow (£22) as I haven't spent any money so far this month, this is a very good No Spend Month!!!! I have a lamp, a game, a bag to sell but I would prefer to sell at the end of the month. That is my treat for the month and when work starts I will take in £10 a week and try to avoid spending.
I have a huge pile of ironing to do! I'm going to make piles so it doesn't feel so bad.

Good idea to split up the ironing into small piles. At least then you feel like you’ve achieved something when each pile is done rather than feeling you will never get to the end of one large pile!Treat yourself to the perfume you deserve a treat & have “holiday” money leftover.Good luck with your selling.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I used to know someone, who only did the ironing if the ironing pile fell on her going past it!So you are one up on that already....

Ah walking is everything for me. @savingwannabe so it's good to know you got something from it as well. It's certainly free but priceless for what it gives in return.1
