Hello ladies, my bargains arrived and i am so happy. Both are useful bits of equipment i could use around the house. Last weekend I took advantage of £1 listings and have posted a few bits on fleabay. Fingers crossed. Anything i sell i shall use to fund food shopping next month so i can add to my savings for my xmas fund.
I have some great news, I think i can fund my house insurance for this year from my current account as i have barely spent any money during lockdown. Hurrah there has been a benefit to being so frugal this year.
MF I asked my neighbours before i binned the food, all their freezers were full so i have had to bin it. I am a bit upset but it is just one of those things. Most of the food is LL so i will replace it for him. I have now started to defrost the other freezer just in case the same happens but this time i have moved the frozen food over so LL and I dont lose any more valuable food.
I have changed the dates on some medical appointments today and done a bit of tidying on my day off. I have deliberately not done any work of any kind. There is a bit of admin i must do for elections and also my tax code so i will do that. All in all it has been a restful day. I might make a curry too.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222 -
Shame about the food but probably not worth claiming on the house insurance even if your policy includes it unless it’s a huge freezer. I am glad you have had a restful day & did not go out in this weather! Enjoy your curry that’s what I’m having for dinner too ☺️0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

Hi Swan
So annoying about the food, I hate it if I waste any, but, a nice bit of comfort curry in this wet and wild weather sounds good!

Well done on getting the listings done and for earmarking the proceeds for food.
It would be great if you could fund your insurance in one go, saves a bit of money each month.
Your LL will understand about the freezer; seems to be something in the air as sibling / my mom's fridge has packed up!
A curry would be a fantastic reward for having a restful day 🤗Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Work has been busy. lol. I spent £3 on food from the corner shop, spent £22 on a lovely anorak and then paid £70 that the tax office decided i owed them from my current account. I have also paid £125 insurance on my credit card. I am paid on Friday i hope i have some money left for food next month!!!
i have a few watchers on fleabay fingers crossed i make some money as i dont think i will have much to live off next month. lol.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222 -
You will have enough food money, if you get stuck for budget recipes ideas let me know.
Well done for clearing the tax and for getting your insurance arranged. I'm sure you will get a bite on your sales, people tend to wait until payday.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
I agree with MF above, there should be loads of movement now people have been paid. Well done on cashflowing the insurance, I always end up having to save up in advance as I end up paying a few other things out at the same time it's due every July.2

Hurrah for payday. Thank you ladies for your vote of confidence. To save money rather than having a chinese tonight i have bought some crisps and sweeties as a naughty treat. Total spend £2.70. Im going to see how much spending money i have left after i have paid off all my costs for this month. So glad for a long weekend. I have many lessons to write.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

I have been soooooo bad. I ate two 6 packs of crisps (!) and two packs of Smarties. It was soooo naughty but i wont have anything else but necessary food this week. I must remember that I will only buy single bags of crisps as I cannot be trusted. Somehow i still fit into my pre lockdown clothes so that is money saved.
I had the biggest lie in this morning and have just done a big clean. I have many lessons to write but as the sun is shining i am feeling good. I have made £29 so far from sales on social media and have £28 cash from last month. So i have £172 in total this month which is plenty i think for food, fun, travel.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222
