I vacuumed, mopped, did a tiny bit of weeding. One half of my job is complete I am now moving on to the second area and hope to sort this over the weekend.

Your tasks were well picked, with the up and down weather today. Don't forget to have some you time too.

We keep having showers but I am getting bits of weeding done in between them and I hope to have most of it done by the end of today. lol. The swing company want me to ring them on Tuesday to see when they can deliver the swing. I'm totally chilled as in between I am watching some old telly programmes that I have recorded.

You're getting your swing soon 🤗🤗

Thank goodness you are chilling as weeding is tedious!

I have just ordered 24 lavender plants for £9.00 and that includes postage. They will be planted in the areas around the swing. My plan for tomorrow if my sugars allow it is to mow the grass. I am shattered sugars not been good today. Let's hope tomorrow is a better day.

Today I have weeded and my plan  is to add some sand in (left over from ages ago an old building project)  to the clay based soil I have and then I will be ready for the lavender to arrive. I am doing this in bits throughout the day.

Your garden will look lovely SW, especially with the lavender plants. I am not really a gardener & don’t unfortunately have room for more plants but I do have a dwarf lavender which is lovely. The bees love them 🐝

What type of lavender are coming? I quite like the French lavender due to the two extra petals on the top of the flower stem. It's also lovely to see a field of lavender flowers.
(Triggers migraines, so can't have any in mine)

Wise move doing it in bits, rather than one go!
