It's glorious outside, bit hot to be doing anything aside from sitting outside and drinking water.

Hopefully you have a bit of energy after work to do a small section, when it's cooled a little.

Well MovingForwards, it's all gone a bit Pete Tong as I sat on the swing and now I don't want to do my work so I have started to mow the grass. The neighbours will think I'm mad - Mad dogs and English(women) out in the midday sun. I made a curry and some scones yesterday so I have even got today's food sorted. Eventually I will do some boring work. Two days left and the madness starts so I want to enjoy it. It is simply glorious.

And the joys of your swing is already showing, the neighbours will be pleased to see you happy and are probably envious and work can be done later, when it's cooler.

Continue having a wonderful day 🌞

I have watered the back garden and will do the last big admin job for work then I am hoping I can dig in some compost into where I am putting the lavender plants when they come.

    It is so warm already.

Even if you only do a few cm at the top, the compost will work itself down.

I can almost picture your swing, surrounded by lavender, you smiling, in a flowing summer dress, a summer hat and  h011yw00d film star sunglasses!

Isn't it wonderful having the warm weather, an early summer with clear blue sky and being able to get out into it 🤗

    Have a fabulous day!

MF, thanks to your composting advice I have saved a lot of time. I did all my work, then added compost and added some petunias and a couple of lobelia whilst I am waiting for the lavender to arrive. It has been a great day although my back does hurt a bit now. Work starts again tomorrow.
