  • Hi SW, that's going to be interesting with the bid on the lights... Perhaps they're assuming they'll collect them once this is all over? I really need some maternity tops, fortunately I'd ordered some leggings before the lockdown started and am currently able to fit into my husbands t-shirts but sooner or later I'm going to need to do some sort of online shopping. Plus, if it goes on long enough then I'll have to do all my baby bits shopping online.... I just feel so guilty about the idea of shopping for "non essentials" online right now as it means people are putting themselves at risk to go to work and pack, ship and deliver the items!

You're 100% right about trolls, what is it with situations like these bringing out the best in most people, but the absolute worst in some??  :(

Hurrah for the holiday. I am so tired this online teaching is blooming exhausting and I am only part time but working well over full time hours. I am going to try to do 3-4 hours marking a day (but am taking the weekend off) and then try to do nice decluttering things too. The sun was glorious today I was in the garden Skinty it was glorious when I did the lawn then I cleared my computer desk of clutter.

I didn't see everyone's posts so huge thank you for posting.  Pinkandsparkly I think you can justify ordering online. The people that had bid asked if they could withdraw them so I did. I have ended the auction on my lights as I don't want anyone's health compromised due to me. They will sell when this horrid crisis is over.

It is a beautiful day today. I haven't put the news on but heard 5 bus drivers have passed due to the virus as well as the hundreds of others. So many lives it is such a tragic time please stay safe everyone..

To keep myself sane the plan for today is to clean my  fridge, do two jobs in the garden and chill.

  • Well done on cutting the lawn & decluttering SW. I’ve lost my decluttering mo-jo at the moment. I’ve got a pile to go to the charity shop & the tip so it will be stored until things get back to “normal”. Who knows how many weeks/months that will be !

It's good that you are resting to be honest. I still think that fall must have wiped you out. I am going to try to do I silly job daily. Like empty out the drawers, cupboards in my kitchen and clean in between marking. I'm just watching the Queen speaking to us and the Commonwealth where she is loved. She is very motivating. I believe her. In a while this will be over let's just hope the pain can be minimised.

Work have been making daft decisions, I refused to do any work today on principle and I actually had the day off. Weather is glorious. I hope everyone is ok. I had some delicious sausages cost was £3.50. I am going to de-dandelion the garden tomorrow by putting some old weedkiller down. I hope it does the job.

Seems to be a load of places coming up with daft things, unfortunately.

The weather is lovely lately and I'm glad you have been balancing your days. A spot of gardening is good and a nice way of getting outside.
