  • Fingers crossed your buyers turn up. I agree you can make some big savings on grocery shopping / cleaning stuff if you can bulk buy. 😊

Hoorah they just came and Ive made £35!!!! ps just heard from hospital I am having my pre op this Friday and the op thing on Wednesday of next week. It has taken less than a week how fantastic is the NHS. I was going to change the date to the hols as I am sure my sick leave affects redundancy chances but everyone says not to let work affect my life as it might be more serious than I am treating it. Since when does work care anyway? lol so !!!!!! it I'm going to get it done.

I was going to do urgent marking but now I will do it in my week off. lol. when I have my op so I am doing minor marking today.

  • Fab news on your sales & on your op date being so soon. I agree get it done on the date they have given you as otherwise you could end up on a big waiting list. I wouldn’t plan to do anything in your week off after the op as you don’t know how you will be affected and how long the recovery will be, especially with anaesthetic and your other conditions. Maybe ask them for more info when you go for your pre-op. I’m sure it will all go well xx

I am hoping I will recover really quickly, I texted my parents and they said they would take me to hospital which is great. I don't believe this but I have just sold some jewellery for £7.50!!!! So this weekend I  have made £42.50!!!! I have been so tired because of the anaemia I spent this afternoon in bed!!! Roll on next Friday it's my pre op and payday too!

Rright I have £249 in my current account after all my bills are paid so I am going to save the lot this month and put it in overpayments and retirement fund. I cannot believe that having a NSM can have such an effect. I know it has been lucky as there has been little council tax this month (I only had to pay £57 as they bungled it one month) but it really does mean that I am not wasting money. I really cant believe how it is working out. Please let next month be this good.

Plans for today: mark 6 bits of work & i wrote two lessons. A friend dragged me out to a pub by the sea total spend £7.00 (including bread, cake and at the pub we had crisps and coke two drinks). It was nice but I wish I hadn't gone as I think some of that was a waste of money! 5 days till payday and pre op day. I have to post an ebay item on Tuesday which is my day off.

I have counted up my spending this month and I have spent a total of £140 cash (on travel, charity, presents, fun, food, light fittings and stocking up on unstoppables) which I am v proud of if I stick to this as often as I can I will be ok. I will have an £249 extra for savings when usually by now i am close to zero. Conclusion a NSM works.
It has been a lovely week off work  and I have done loads of marking due to the rainy weather .
