  • That’s really nice of your lovely neighbour ☺️ My neighbour is like that too he painted the front of my house and I just bought the paint. I don’t know if they realise what a great help they are. It’s the only thing that puts me off moving.

Hurrah for nice neighbours. I went to the hospital today for a blood test, then met a friend for a catch up and a small meal and did a bit of shopping for food and some bits from the pound shop and Valentine's cards for the boys so they give me chocolate!!!! lol.  (Total cost £40). Blood test has made me v tired so I took the day off. I have managed to reduce the dd on my gas bill down to £95 a month as I am in credit for the first time in ages.  My gas and electric bill is still high though.

Looking at my bank account,  I reckon after my bills are paid I will have £286 left over. If I try to live on £100 for food and travel etc then I should have about £200 to save this month. I will also try to OP on my mortgage by £150.  I hope I can do it. Thank goodness it is a short month and I didn't have a council tax payment.

Let's hope tomorrow is a NSD.

Hello Skinty, indeed I am. I have lots of marking to do but I will also chill and work at my own pace and try to do some more decluttering.

Two more days to go till half term. I keep looking at what I can declutter next. I have been invited to a meal but don't know if I want to go? Im finding it hard to justify eating out when I could buy a week's groceries for the same price. Is that harsh?

I have seen a job advertised for another summer school in the summer. The salary is 250a week. I wouldn't say no to that and it will keep me thin! I have applied we shall see.

Bless you I filled the form in and we shall see. ~An agency is doing the hiring I hope they do hire me. It's from 12-5 everyday which is great as I can chill at home first. Today I gave £10 towards a nice person's collection.

One more day to the hols which will be a week of marking. lol but it will be so nice to have a week to catch up at home.  I am so tired I keep falling asleep. All I can think of is that I will be home for  a week and I can tidy and try to clear my marking pile. I also want to sell an expensive piece of jewellery. (and see if I make anything).

Holiday starting from now!!!!!!!!!!! Today was a NSD. Well it appears that ebay have a £1 selling offer and I pulled out the designer jewellery which cost me a fortune years ago and I see that a stone has fallen out so I am going to sell it v cheap. A buyer is visiting tomorrow and spending £2 on a picture. Every bit helps. The plan for the hols is to declutter and mark. Hurrah.
