Today was a no spend day. Ofsted has gone well we have a good which I am happy with. 

A work friend wants to meet up on Sunday and go out for a meal.  Do I go and just have tea and cake? Id rather not eat out. I don't know how to get out of it. 

I have lots of little work jobs to do but am taking tonight off. If possible I would like to list my old ceiling lights on ebay while there are £1 listings.

I am!!!! lol. I don't feel safe taking mum out for a meal right now. I have spent all morning listing my old ceiling lights. One job done. Mum and I have cleaned the house and I am going to try to line dry. Then I am resting as am exhausted.

I finally sussed out how to get to the start of your diary, read through it all and note no-one has said how to do fried rice!

Start to cook the rice as you normally would,
a few minutes before it's actually cooked take it off the heat,
pop into a sieve and run under plenty of cold water to quickly cool it,
Leave it to drain,
Heat wok / frying pan and oil,
Throw the drained rice in the pan and stir occasionally. 

IF it still goes mushy, you are cooking it too long to start with.

Should you fancy egg fried rice, repeat above process, only before adding the rice to fry add a beaten egg to the pan, keep moving it til it starts to cook, add the drained rice and mix the rice / egg together until the egg has coated the rice.

Takes about 2 minutes on a normal gas hob.

If you like Chinese curry sauce, most supermarkets sell it in the world foods section.

Hello Bless you for asking. I am perfectly well, apart from eating too much rubbish food. I have been self isolating for a week so I am quite safe. We all had to go into work to clear our desks for a deep clean and have been teaching online for almost a week now. I think we are being paid as normal as we are working from home. I am isolating but it is not as serious as it is for the shelter patients ie those with cancer. Steve is being so brave and his consultant has been video conferencing him regularly. I just want him to stay healthy.   I have piles of admin to do but I think we are off till at least June so I am not going to get stressed about it. The hardest part was getting the students online and now we are ok. lol they keep contacting us at odd times including weekends I have been doing 12 hour days  but nothing like what shopworkers, careworkers and the NHS are doing and I have no risks as I am at home. I was on the coronavirus facebook pages and was helping out  on there but kept missing you guys. I am so glad you are all ok. 

I mowed the grass over two days.  The lodger has to go in for work and he is working and going out every day but he does wash his hands. He has offered to do my shopping. My neighbours have been brilliant buying my food they have done 4 shops this week! I have never had so many veg. We all clapped for the NHS and care workers which made me feel v grateful I have been working really hard online and the boss said to have a break on Saturday although I have lots of work to do today!  A buyer was interested in my lights but he wont be able to collect them during this almost lockdown so I have said I will keep them till it is over. I wonder how long it will last. I have had some interesting conversations with friends who are medical. We shall see. As long as people are safe i shan't mind. 

I am going to post jobs on here so I get things done. Today I am planning to do some admin. Stay safe everyone, we are home we are safe. God bless all those people in hospital and all those working to keep them healthy.

I understand about eating rubbish food SW. I’m trying to eat healthily but not always successful.  Too many biscuits 🍪😌

I’m glad your neighbours have been shopping for you and your lodger has offered to get some too

Thank goodness I am one of the lucky ones and have been paid. I am just paying the basic amount this month on my mortgage. I've put £30 into my xmas fund (which is now my short term emergency fund as quite frankly this is an emergency). I have enough for food and am not planning to go out anywhere soon. I hope everyone is ok. 

Martin Lewis and his team have just put out an amazing message to help millions of workers and I've seen an idiot trolling. I cannot believe how stupid these people are. Probably the same ones that are licking all the handles, you've just got to roll your eyes, ya know? lol.

I did some painting yesterday. Someone has bid on one of my lights???? I have no idea how they think they are going to pick them up considering we are in lockdown??? but hey we shall see. Today I will be teaching in 10 mins and then I hope to do some washing sometime in between. All is well I hope everyone is ok.
