My work online today was quite straightforward. I then washed the windows at the front of the house. The tomatoes have arrived and although they were expensive they were beautifully packaged. I think this will have to be the new way forward for me as I should avoid going to shops as much as possible. I do wonder how retail will survive after seeing the news today. I will plant the tomatoes tomorrow morning.  I ordered some make up from fleabay for when work starts which I think will be August. It was at a bargain price of £12.50 I think I am allowed a treat after the stressful month.  The sun is shining wonderfully outside.

I'm pleased work was straightforward, it's good to have days like that.

You need to make a brew, take it outside and get a bit of the sun!

That is a great idea MF but I don't think I can  as all my teaching is online and the computer screen is hard to read in the sunshine. lol. I have been looking at shielding screens but I don't know if they are any use? Does anyone have any experience of these?
Today I will be teaching in a few mins. Then I have plenty of marking to do. I would like to plant my tomatoes today into a half used grow bag which I must move into the greenhouse from the garage if my back can cope. Finally I will sort out my downstairs admin in the drawer which needs a good tidy up.
I have a horrid course to do over the weekend but I am planning to chill in the garden too. So far I am managing to sort the dandelions as they appear. It is neverending we shall see...…….lol. Have a good day everyone.

If the shielding screen is the plastic cover going over the monitor screen, the only ones I have experience of are the privacy ones, which means you have to be sat in front of the monitor to read what's being displayed, not stood to the side. Stops people being able to read things if you are doing confidential work.

I wasn't sure if you had a tablet / laptop for marking, that would be easier to work off outside, depending on your position in the sun.

Be careful moving your tomato bag, even if it's moved a few inches each day, you will get it where you want it.

I managed to get them into the bag in the greenhouse. Hurrah. This morning I have cleaned the inside of my windows in every room except the kitchen. My blood sugars have been crazy for two days so I have had to rest today as I am pretty weak now. I did look at ordering some flowers online but I refuse to pay £18 for my favourite petunias so I am going to go without this year. I will just make do with the lavender in the front garden and the usual perennials.  I did order some bunting for VE Day next Friday (total cost £4.00).

So far this month I have spent £24 on treats. Almost 4 days till payday and I will be saving an extra £200 I think.

Are you eating a balanced Diet most days, or are you making do with what you can put together? Plus eating enough for the physical tasks your are doing regularly?

It has been quite warm recently, make sure you have increased your liquid in take too.

It's amazing how much we spend to earn money and generally day-to-day. You're doing well with keeping your spending down x

I have been making so many mistakes as I am out of my usual routine and I must stop snacking and guessing sugars and do more than 5 tests a day. Im going to finish as much of what I can out of the freezer as I think that will save some waste. Today I have done a bit of gardening. I do have an urgent course to do for work which may take much of the day. Once it's done I don't have to visit it again ever. I have been putting it off but must do it now. Have a good day everyone.

SW, you have to take care of yourself and not guess, everything is too much up in the air for you.

Hope the coursework is easier / quicker than you expect, don't forget to take breaks and have a few stretches.

Lol I just finished it was the most pointless task ever. Thank goodness it's over. Remind me never ever to allow work to sign me up to such a waste of space course ever again. Now I shan't have deadlines hanging over my head I can just focus on marking.
