Thank you Skinty. Yesterday the final straw was when someone wanted a team meeting today on bank holiday !!! I do feel better today. I made some cakes but after I made them up and used all my flour I realised I had used way too much sugar so they are in the bin. The street had a lovely socially distanced VE Party outside with lovely cakes, scones, my rich tea biscuits and tea!!! lol. At 3/4 oclock I am taking champagne out. It looks like a nice day here. I am actually dressed. Happy VE Day everyone.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

I am glad to hear you are feeling better today and the team meeting did not go ahead. You need a rest from work & your street party sounds just the thing to destress. Have a lovely afternoon. Cakes and champers yum 😋0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I did 7 hours of marking today after break times are removed. I am still nowhere near done. lol. Weather was gorgeous and I popped out twice to pick the dandelions. The temperature should drop tomorrow. I am hoping I will do some marking and hopefully some housework. I might move some pictures around in my downstairs bedroom and kitchen for a change.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

Well done on the marking SW. I am going to cut my grass next week once it has cooled down and hopefully it won’t all dry to a crisp. I have dandelions to remove too. I find boiling water kills the ones that come up in the gaps inbetween the paving. Not sure that would work on the lawn though0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I had some feed and weed from last year and it has run out. lol. It's ok when it is safe to do so I will get some. I am just cleaning the last of the skirting boards and have taken down my bunting. I am cleaning the nooks and crannies in the little bathroom as there is damp and the room is tiny so I might leave that and just concentrate on the windows but am not sure how I can reach them. lol, first world problems. It so lovely and quiet here lots of care homes close to me I do hope they are ok.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222

Might be worth looking to see if the supermarket has lawn feed and weed, I'm sure I saw it last time I was in.
Bathrooms are terrible for damp, never have a good enough fan or window, considering how much water / steam is used in there.
I hear your first world problems, I contemplated putting a folding footstool on a chair to reach top corners, tried to stand on a rickety old office chair and then tried to look for a certain cookbook as it's a few inches thick and just the extra height needed on tip toes!
If you have the storage space, I can highly recommend the 3 step ladders, gives just enough height to reach corners; assuming you are 5ft 4in + and don't have the huge tall ceilings.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -
Lol. I ended up having a low blood sugar and spent 3 hours in bed sleeping it off after a bottle of Lucozade. I have done skirting boards and vacuumed and moved pictures in my bedroom and kitchen around for a change. I'm five feet two but I cant get to the window as the loo is to the side of the window I could stand on it I suppose??? bur I am leaving it for another day.
I have done my marking for today and am now waiting for Boris's plan at 7pm. I reckon the whole country will be watching tonight to see what the strategy is. This virus is just plain evil.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222 -
Hope you are feeling better now. I'm sure I have seen extendable products for cleaning high up corners etc, possibly a disabled aid. Will have a look when I've broadband fitted and see what I can find. Toilets are stable, just see if the bowl part moves before standing on it (sometimes the cement, screws or whatever the fixing is, needs to be redone / tightened over years of use).
Why are you working on a Sunday! You must have a day to yourself.
Whatever is said tonight will upset some people, the guy is damned if he does, damned if he doesn't. No-one could get it right, regardless of who was in.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
You two be careful standing on toilet seats & rickety chairs 😱 No cleaning is worth the risk of a fall.SW I hope you are feeling better and your sugars have stabilised. So Bojo has said from wednesday you can sit in the park, drive to the beach and exercise as long as you like ? Hope there is more detail tomorrow as lots of confusion about working from home & no mention of vulnerable people.0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I squished the chair in there and I cleaned around the window. All is well. I am still confused about Bojo's advice but am thinking of walking or exercising later this week as I have done nothing for 8 weeks and it shows. Today I am going to teach, do marking if I can in between lessons. I will try harder to clear damp from bathroom as it is v stubborn. It is perfect drying weather so I will do a clothes wash too.Aiming for a minimal spend 20222
