Im just a bit worried about the quality and also using all my Christmas Fund to buy a non essential swing when my job could disappear as where I work is so untrustworthy, the money is much better used on driving lessons or just sitting in the bank for now. It just doesn't feel right in the middle of a pandemic you know? I dont feel comfortable. I'm going to not buy it and see how i feel later in the year.

We had a work meeting and am thinking of painting one fence panel every day while the weather is good starting at the weekend maybe. I am just assuming I have fence paint in the garage. I hope so.lol.

If you are on FB join local selling groups as quite a few by me have people making garden furniture out of reclaimed wood and do commissions; it's naturally aged being 'used' and the prices are competitive. That's what I'm looking to do when it's time to get furniture.

I know what you mean about being able to see something, I've found the sofa / chair I want from 1ke@ at another company, cheaper, but I know 1ke@ lasts.

With the fence, assuming it's the standard up or across overlap panel type, within the frame, you could always just do one strip a day if need be. If you are ok after doing one strip, do another, rather than thinking You've got to do a whole panel. If you have the paint

I might see if I can go to a garden centre next week or at the weekend and bring some feed and weed and some garden paint back? It would be nice to have something to look forward to.

Yup, get your paint before you start, just in case you can't get the same colour. Pick your feed up too. Do small bite size bits so you don't overdo it and before you know it your fence is done and your grass is vibrant.

I'm glad you are relaxing tonight, have a good evening.

I had a long sleep I woke up 5 mins after the clap for the NHS - it was a looooong day at work- After chatting to the boys I realised I was stressing about the swing as online working is neverending with my workplace and that was why I didn't want to take a risk with the swingseat company as I am in a climate of stress at home. Well I have decided that it is exactly what I wanted for years and years and I am allowed to chill in my own garden,  I have ordered it it is £329 and cost all of my Christmas money but I don't mind as I think it is a bargain price and it is from a great company. Hurrah. My lovely neighbour is going to put it together for me and I will pay him. Soooo happy. Please let it all be ok. I am looking forward to my garden seat.

While I am feeling positive on Saturday I might see if I can pop to the garden centre and buy some bits as long as I follow social distancing it will be ok.

It's an early Christmas present to yourself and your neighbour is a good guy. I'm sure you will be sitting on it soon and relaxing.

Hope the swing is as lovely as it sounds SW 😊 Some people are not so good at social distancing once they get inside even when you try to keep 2m away from them. I find it quite scary going shopping. I haven’t worn a mask yet 😷 as I haven’t been in any busy shops, but you might want to consider wearing a “face covering” as recommended by the government. It’s not mandatory but I think garden centres will be very busy

I have to go to work for one day next week and will try to visit a garden centre on the same day and get some paint for the fences. It's quite exciting to be able to escape.
    My boss
told us to take the rest of the day off as people are starting to crack up with teaching online 24/7. I tried to fix the screw in my front door and then found a whole tub of feed and weed, applied it to the garden and will water it in on Sunday.

Ok I was so impatient this morning I watered in the feed and weed as I couldn't wait. I have vacuumed. I have emptied out a bag of old clothes for when the charity bags come as I am sure they will start soon. Then I decluttered behind the kitchen door and sorted out some tins too. The swing seat company have charged my card sometime today and I made rock cakes and watched Eurovision.

Some companies take longer to show up on your account. When I paid for DF’s magazine subscription it took nearly a week to show. Did they say how long for it to be dispatched?

You have been very busy this morning try and relax this afternoon x
