First day of hols. I've washed and vacuumed and am roasting chicken legs.
I have sold a picture on marketplace for £2 which is great as I would have just given it to charity. My other picture has one watcher on flea bay.
A local department store is closing down and having a half price sale but to be honest I don't need anything. It's not worth travelling down.
I might see if I can declutter my kitchen drawers. I could only chuck 4 things from my maybe drawer I am not sure whether I may need the other stuff.
Plans for tomorrow:- [STRIKE]Do ironing [/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Write 16 reports [/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Post neighbours Christmas cards[/STRIKE]
- [STRIKE]Sort out shoes in store room[/STRIKE]
When I am bored I watch decluttering videos and I get ideas of things I can get rid of. The house is definitely looking emptier.
I have spent most of the last two days in bed which is good as it means I am sleeping this cold off. The boys insist I visit them for Christmas but I don't want to infect them.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
I spent most of the day in bed yesterday and was not good in the night. I am not feeling brilliant so the boys are coming to collect me. Merry Christmas Everyone.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220

Merry Christmas VH. The boys kidnapped me and rescued me and now I am rested but still ill. If I am not better by Wednesday the dr will give me some extra medication but it may sort itself out as I am going through the change. OOOOH how exciting it all is. lol.
I haven't been sale shopping or anything I had to stay in and J&hn L*wis, bless them, left it till 4pm then all the internet/phone went off and it took 2 hours to get it back on. OOOOH what a palaver. As a result, no work has been done today at all. Mind you, no money has been spent either. lol.
Next year is going to be a low spend year for me I have decided. I will only buy food and essential things. Fingers crossed I will save loads and can put this towards retirement. I am also going to put £30 in my Christmas fund every month so I have more to spend at the end of the year.
I received £125 from my new bank account and I am saving an extra £100 of this. So this month I have made an OP of £250 towards the mortgage. Hurrah. I am also paying off my credit card bill of £161 in full.
I still have £25 cash and £50 in my account (summer job and rest of the bank incentive) which I may add to OP at the end of the month.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Hope you are feeling better today. Sounds like you are organised for the new year, and I like the reward from the bank.Clearing the junk to travel light

I am feeling much better my menopausal symptoms have calmed down now and I might be able to do more things. I have been resting as I am so anaemic but am also marking at home.
Mum and dad are being amazing and doing lots of shopping for me so I am just staying warm inside and marking. So far I am on target. My Christmas decorations from fleabay came in the post earlier than expected and are hanging on the tree. I am v happy chilling at home.
It is Sunday and I have done today's marking. Tomorrow I pick up a picture I bought at the start of the month. I hope to carry on with marking for the rest of the day. There is one week of my holiday left and I am feeling so much better.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
So it is the end of 2019 this month I have saved £150 and made an OP of £150. (This is only because parents gave me £100 and I lived on that. lol).
I had to spend extra money this month for the works Christmas party (£65 OMG in total) and also because I needed more for presents and I paid £30 for a train ticket I didn't use. Lessons learned from this are that I am saving more in my Christmas Fund next year. I wont be going to any more expensive Christmas do's as I will be meeting the nice people separately from now on I hope. I will only buy a ticket on the day I am travelling next year.
Mum and dad have left me with lots of food in the fridge which is brilliant. I am looking forward to 2020.
I may take down Christmas cards today and am still deciding about Henry.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Sorry to hear you have been ill over the holiday's but you have a great support system and it's good to know they have been taking great care of you.
Want to wish you all the best for 2020.
I will be back to cheer you on in the New Year.

Thank you Dolly. Right in honour of the New Year I am taking today off. My friend and I are out gallivanting and I treated us to lunch for £12 which was a bargain for me and spent £4 on cards and wrapping for a friend's gift. I have only withdrawn £50 and will see how far it will go.
So far I have vacuumed, dusted, washed sheets. Im going to tidy away my Christmas cards and chill. It is so nice to be rich, shame it only lasts till the DD's start!!! I have seen some sparkly coasters on social media for only £10. Im going to buy them.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
