    Goodness, I didn't realise it was now 68!!!!

    I can think of one option to add to my inadequate retirement savings as my pension will be based on working part time- in a few years I might rent out my downstairs bedroom as well as the spare one. I have twenty years to figure this out! lol.

    Does anyone know retired people on part time funded pension -Id be interested to know how they cope? I don't think I will be destitute but I dont think I will be well off at all. My parents use their spare time to do voluntary work and keep fit by doing lots of walking and buying healthy food in the market they have v low costs.

    The positives for this month are:
    • I have an overpayment of £200 towards the mortgage. Yay.:beer::beer:
      • I Payed my credit card off early it was £101.
    • My summer job have contacted me and it looks like I still have a summer job which means exercise, travel and spending money this summer.
    • And payday in 2 days. Hurrah.

    Outfox The Market emailed to say I still owe them £12 and now want to charge me a an extra dd of £148 to recover the £12. Ridiculous! I will ring them tomorrow and get this sorted and hopefully never ever hear from them again.

  • I know!

    Just so glad it's almost over.

    He has 21 days to appeal once the paperwork is sent to him but god only knows why he would choose to do that now?!?

    Just need to wait patiently for the papers to come through in the next 6-8 weeks.

    Onwards and upwards indeed!

    Payday today :money::j:beer::D:T:)

    On 1st March £20 is going to Christmas Fund, £750 towards the mortgage, £240 on food and fun, £250 rent money on mortgage OP and £250 rent money towards savings. The rest is for bills and any left over I hope I can save as it is a council tax free month hurrah.

    I am hoping this month I will be good and continue not to spend on Fleabay.

    My parents come tomorrow I am looking forward to a weekend of marking but it will be so nice to have them here. It is expected to be rainy this weekend I hope it doesn't last long.
