Glad to here you are on the mend SW,
Being sick it just your body's way of saying your way too awesome and you need to slow down so everybody else can catch up
Take care0 -
Get well soon, after such a yuk start to the new year, the only way you can go is up! I share your pain on deadlines....I'm on my 2nd day of procrastinating now before going back in on Monday0

Hello ladies, I'm the same as Kitty procrastinating. It is a teacher's lot in life. lol.
At least I have made a start and will continue today. Its v cold outside. I have some parcels coming today I hope. I am not allowed to buy anything on ebay unless someone is selling my fav perfume (issey miyake nectar) v cheap. fingers crossed. Nuffink else at all.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
Awwww, what a rotten end to 2018 SW - hope you feel much perkier soon!! I'd echo what Skinty said: you can't pour from an empty cup and learning to say no sometimes means you appreciate the things you say yes to far more. At least, that's what I'm told and what I'm trying to do in my life. I've been trying for about 3 years though and don't feel like I'm actually any better at it!!
Hope 2019 works out fabulously for you (and I'll keep my fingers crossed on the reduced perfume front for you!). Speaking of which, is it possible to set up alerts for specific items so you get told when they are listed? The last few months I've been trying to improve my "self care/self love (not as dodgy as I've just made it sound!!)" and one of those things has been wearing perfume each day. I'm currently running down my stock of ones that people have gifted me but at some point need to either find a cheap one I love, or a cheap way of getting expensive ones!)MFW2023 challenge #99: £1090.11 / £1,000 MFiT-T6 (Jan 2022 - Jan 2025) challenge #99: Reduce mortgage to £400,000. Today I felt nauseous and so I slept and marked and slept.lol
Some cards that I ordered came today and two calendars. I can't believe I paid so much but they will last me for a few years and are v high quality.
I am waiting for my jacket and some eye make up to arrive but that's it no more spending as I must be good. I will try to have a NS January for the rest of the month if poss.Aiming for a minimal spend 20220 -
It is FREEZING. I have been putting on the heating a lot over the last few days but it's best not to be too cold.
I have just decided that I am v unhealthy and am going to stop takeaways this year. Hopefully I will eat healthier too.
Today I have marking to do and also I will start my ironing. I am dying for my parcels -especially my jacket - to arrive. I feel like a child. lol.Aiming for a minimal spend 20221 -
We have really been feeling the cold. I've been wrapped up in fluffy pjs and a dressing gown which is unusual for me. I never wear slippers but have resorted to them too. I hate being cold.
Hope your parcels arrive soon!
I'm another that is making more of an effort to wear perfume. The two I have are my best perfumes, if you get what I mean. Thankfully someone bought me a cheap set for Christmas which I can get away with using for workChandelier.
