  • I'm so glad you're feeling more human again, SW! I'm imaging you twirling around the kitchen in your new jacket with a massive grin on your face :rotfl:

Not checking fleabay until payday is probably a wise move actually. I actually had to take a couple of years away from Ebay because I got a bit addicted and was buying so much lovely that I totally didn't need but was "just so lovely" and "a complete bargain". I've never really got back into the habit of thinking of using it....!

Hello Pinky, how disciplined are you? I wish I could stop using it but it is so cheap. This jacket is brand new and only a quarter of the original price. :D

I have slept so much today. I am going to iron again.

I made a mistake with injections this morning and was ill for most of the day. I have slept. What a surprise that's all I seem to do. Still I will be ok for tomorrow and hope I will finish my work.

I popped into the garden for about a minute and saw that my bulbs are growing in another month or so they will look spectacular. I cannot wait.

Sorry to hear you not feeling to well, hopefully your on the mend I've also got a lot of bulbs that are a little too forward due to the mild weather, one of my camellias is also in full flower.
You put me to shame with the ironing its something im terribly lazy with, Its a good job I minimised my wardrobe or it never get done.
  • Oh no, hope you're feeling better SW.

And on the EBay front - I'm not sure disciplined is the right word at all, I decided I had to stop even going on the website purely because i was so undisciplined if I let myself :rotfl: Kind of like the "I can't buy junk food if I don't go to the supermarket" mentality! My sister has got some lovely bargains from there though, so [STRIKE] if [/STRIKE] when I lose this weight I'm planning on doing some shopping on there. Your jacket sounds fab!

And Tori - I'm just as lazy as you when it comes to ironing, possibly even more so. I now refuse to buy any items of clothing that require ironing. I found some lovely lightweight drapey material blouses that don't require ironing and non-iron trousers for work. My husband irons his own work shirts, but I've also invested in some non-iron shirts for him too - they've made mornings a LOT less stressful (he flat out refused to iron five shirts on a weekend....).

Lol. I feel chuffed as you all think I am good at ironing.:o Lol Im so embarrassed the only reason I had to do so much is that I didn't do it in term time and I almost ran out of clothes:rotfl::rotfl:!!!!

Work was hard this week. So glad it's over. blood sugars have been rubbish due to all the bugs. Went for a hospital appointment and dr wants to see me in 2 months. Yikes they are bad and I am spend today in bed recovering. The week cost £30 including taxis to hospital. I have only spent about £7 at work but will really reduce this next week as I have noticed my blood sugars are rubbish when I don't make my own food.

Outfox The Market took a dd out of £134 when I have a credit of £54 - I rang them and they told me to reverse the dd with my bank. They then said I would be hearing about my real final bill in a few weeks. I do hope I get all my money back but shan't hold out too much hope.:eek::eek:

I am utterly exhausted so I am spending much of the day in bed.:j:beer:

Sorry to hear about the blood sugars, processed food can be so bad for you whilst tasting sooooo good :(

Hope you have a great weekend and that the annoyances of this week are but mere memories soon!
