Time to step up to the plate..

I think the facebook groups might be my next attempt; I've sold a couple of things, but it's all just such a faff. I'd almost rather just take it all to a charity shop than have to do the photos, and the listing, and then the answering of the silly questions, and the silly offers.. and then the trying to arrange a suitable time, etc etc etc :rotfl: it's no wonder I do not like 3bay!!LBM 1st Feb 2015 £18182 to go

Scores on the doors time again.
No extra big payments to take me over the 40% mark unfortunately, but that'll happen next month. Siggy updated - £849 to go on CC2
We've had some success with shpock, around £70 made so far, which is going to go on the windows CC - and they are being installed the w/c 8th Feb :T can't wait! I'm going to list a few things on fleabay tonight too. DH has finally agreed that I can get rid of the baby things.. DD is 12  !!! He's finally accepted that having another is highly unlikely now. I got there a few years ago.
Went out last night to a ball with some work colleagues. It was such fun, I haven't laughed so much in ages. Pretty tired today though. It's been a cwtch on the sofa kind of day, once I'd done the roast pork for lunch. There's always a 'discussion' about who gets the most crackling..LBM 1st Feb 2015 £18182 to go

Got some good news today! I've just posted this on the bank accounts board:
I applied for a new FD account back in November when the switching incentive was £150, but as I didn't want to close my old account I told them that I wanted to move across my DDs and SOs myself. When I didn't receive the £150 I queried it, and was initially told that I wasn't eligible for the incentive because I hadn't used the switching service. So I wrote back, and said I was disappointed at their decision, and left it at that. Today, I've had a phone call, and they are crediting me with that £150! :T:T:T They've reviewed my account, can see I'm using it with DDs and SOs, my salary is being paid in etc etc, and so as 'a gesture of goodwill' are making the payment. Whoop whoop!LBM 1st Feb 2015 £18182 to go

Good news they decided to pay up Steppie! You're doing so well with the sales too, I'm starting to get my backside in gear again and gradually listing things I have earmarked to get rid of. So far have avoided the bay of e though and have stuck to local boards and gumtree. Might have to resort to it soon though!
Lots of love

oooo the windows are in and finished
SO pleased with them! just got to pay them off now  I'll see if I can remember how to post a pic.
Sig has been updated.. small payments so far this month, but they all countI should get more money from the let at the end of the month, so hopefully another payment or two then. CC3 has just gone below £1k too, so it's been a good month - and so far I'm at 41.6% total debt paid off :j :j :j
Hope everyone is ok? Off to nephew's birthday tea in a bit so a spendy evening I expect. In other money related news - I've had my hair coloured by a proper hairdresser for the first time in years. Usually I buy a box from the supermarket and do it myself, but the cuts I have done at home by a lovely lady. She wanted to practise balayage, a colouring technique, and I volunteered. It's GORGEOUS! usually I'm medium golden brown (!) and now I'm red, and blonde, and chocolate chestnut brown.. it's totally different and very beautifulAnd best of all, she didn't charge me

Aww thank you both *blushes* xx
DH spent most of yesterday painting the panelling around the windows so it looks better than the pic now! Got tons of clearing out to do today while he's out; he's a bit of a hoarder so we'll see how much I can shift before he comes back!LBM 1st Feb 2015 £18182 to go
