Well, it's the 1st of the month, so time for some scores on the doors.. 25% of my total debt is now GONE! :D and my sig shows the current figures for CC1. It's been a spendy month, and so it's not where I wanted it to be, but it's a d@mn sight better than it was, so I'm taking that as a win :) if it's not clear this month, it'll be gone in November. And that's going to feel great!

Go go go steppie! Well done :money:  :T

It be gone before you know it xx

That's a brilliant signature Stepup! A 3 figure balance is so much more exciting than 4 isn't it! Well done lovely lady xx

  • Aww thanks DFB35 and MeandO :)

I'm frustrated with the slow progress if I'm honest, so your kind words have cheered me up. I'll get there.. Money from the business slows down over Autumn/winter so I have less to play with. I need to remind myself of this!

On the plus side, I'm off to Ibiza on Saturday!!!! This is the Bootcamp long weekend, all paid for. Can. Not. Wait. :D :j

  • Hi everyone
Back from Ibiza! It was such a good few days! Lots of working out, training on the beach, yoga, meditation, life coaching etc etc. just what I needed. And I went to Pacha. Twice!!!! :D:D it was a real luxury to get away, without DH and DD, and it gave me a chance to think about what I really want, without getting distracted, or having to do food etc etc. I am so lucky to have what I've got, and I'm in control; my choices are mine, and I take responsibility for them all, good and bad. And now I know where I want to go too.. Life is good.

In MSE news.. A bit more nibbled off CC1. Things will slow down with the payments over winter as the business slows down then. But it's all in the right direction xx

  • I've updated my sig :D. I'm not sure that much else will get paid off this month (although I will get under the £500, it's just too tempting!)

I'm going Christmas shopping on Saturday so hopefully will find some good things; I've got 8 Godchildren to buy for  but I do have a savings account set up for Christmas spends so all I have to do is make sure I stick within budget. Easier said than done sometimes!

Not much else to report.. Rubbish first half of the week work-wise but today has been productive. Tomorrow should be good too, I'm on a training course in Worcester.

    Thanks for reading x

  • Another little OP made to CC1, and now I'm down to £497 :T :T

Not too much to report.. Payday to the business is on Friday, but this is going to be a small one as we've only got a couple of bookings this month, rather than being full. Proper payday isn't for another couple of weeks. Too long! On the plus side, I made a start on Christmas shopping on Saturday. A friend and I went up to Shrewsbury on the train, we had a lovely day. Curled up on the sofa now, with a glass of red. DH is away til tomorrow night, and DD has just gone to bed. Lovely and quiet. Time for catching up on the boards and then a read I think. Xx

  • Another OP to CC1 paid, and sig updated.

Hope everyone is ok? Not too much to report here; more Christmas shopping done :xmastree:

DH is outside playing with the leaf blower. We're lucky enough to be surrounded by trees, so it keeps him busy this time of year.

I've checked my credit score using Clearscore, and to my great surprise it says it's excellent! I'm not sure I believe it...:p :rotfl:

  • MSE news today.. I've spent a considerable amount today.. Of time ;) on the boards, and I'm suitably inspired and motivated again :)

I've opened a F1rst D1rect current account today, so hopefully should get the £150 :T Checking my credit score yesterday gave me some confidence that I'd be accepted, I'd never have applied otherwise. And I've joined the sealed pot challenge too. The massive piggy bank that DD gave me for Mothering Sunday has been collecting £2 coins and shrapnel since then, so hopefully should have a fair amount in. I'll count it on the 5th.

Very misty and foggy here. Just walked the dog, and have collected hedgerow blackberries and windfall apples for a crumble. Nom nom nom. Hope everyone is enjoying their Sunday xx

  • I counted up the money in my piggy bank ... £246!!! thrilled with that, it'll definitely pay for the Christmas food shop and leave some spare.

I'm having laptop issues at the moment, so I haven't updated my spreadsheet; I miss it :o but all being well I'll get it sorted this weekend.

I'm holding off any more OP until I get paid on the 15th.. And then CC1 will be gone :j and I can concentrate on CC2.. can't wait x
