Quiet on the diaries lately. I'm watching every penny at the moment, until payday on the 15th. It seems to have been a very spendy summer holidays
so I'm hoping that I can rein it in. I have managed to make another payment to CC1 though
so close to getting rid of it!

I must be doing something right; opened the post this morning to find a life of balance transfer letter for 4.9% for CC5
:j given that I've only got 2 months to go on CC1 I won't use it for that. CC2 is a possibility (but will be paid off in about 6 month anyway) but CC3 is at 0%, so I might use it for CC4, but I'll have to do some sums, as some of that balance is also at 0%. It might not be worth be doing any swapping at all. But woo-hoo! to making enough of a difference that I'm being sent these offers

Payday! Usual money shuffle, and my sig is updated :T it's so tempting to push the boat out and take it under £1000, but I've got a couple of evenings out this month, so need to be a bit careful. Not long now though!
Hope everyone is ok?LBM 1st Feb 2015 £18182 to go

Well done steppie :T and you are being sensible holding on to the money however tempting it is to overpay more.. I always do the opposite and then suffer for it later on in the month
You are so so close to paying it off!!!0 -
OOh under 1k is very exciting Stepup! Well done on being careful though, I too have been tempted to 'over overpay' and then struggle for money for the rest of the month.

Well, I couldn't resist
Sig duly updated. All being well, by the end of the month I will have paid off 25% of my total debt!!!!! Totally thrilled with that!
I have been fiddling with my spreadsheet .. I can spend hours tweaking it but it is very satisfying! So now I have a projections page, where it works out my DFD given current payment levels, and tells me when each card will be paid off. Currently aiming for July 2017, but I'm hoping it can be sooner. But then life does have a habit of throwing curveballs, doesn't it, so I've decided to up my emergency fund once Christmas is over with.
Life otherwise has been the usual madness of the new school year. DD seems to be settling in well to her new school, and work for me is pretty good. There's been talk of some staff changes, and I've identified where I want to be in a couple of years' time.. we'll see!
Hope everyone is ok.. Thank you for reading xLBM 1st Feb 2015 £18182 to go

I had a similar letter from B&rclaycard Stepup - they were upping mine to £8k. I don't spend on the card, it's just a BT, I wish they'd just leave it alone!

Well, it's the 1st of the month, so time for some scores on the doors.. 25% of my total debt is now GONE!
and my sig shows the current figures for CC1. It's been a spendy month, and so it's not where I wanted it to be, but it's a d@mn sight better than it was, so I'm taking that as a win
if it's not clear this month, it'll be gone in November. And that's going to feel great!
