I'm another who hasn't dropped by for a while steppie, sorry about that!

Well done on winning that bottle of champagne:p That's replaced the bottle of wine you gave to the holiday guests with the broken shower!!

Sounds like Percy Pig is filling up nicely! I have a little pink piggy bank, she's very pretty with flowers on but has no name! I'll have to give her a name and start filling her up (she has been used a lot over many years but she's empty atm)

    *Newsflash - I've just decided she's called Penelope :D

  • Hi everyone
Where do the days go? It's been crazy busy here, what with end of term, being short staffed, and going away on Friday on proper holidays!! So I'm trying to cram in as much as I can before Friday when I'll collapse in a heap with a big gin :D

OPs to the CC are still going on, but I haven't updated my sig.. I'll do it when I get back. But all still on track for being gone by Oct :T
Hope everyone is ok? Be good while I'm away ;) xxx

  • I'm back! Lovely lovely holidays, and so today has been spent mainly washing and ironing.. We came back with some money too, so I'm pretty pleased with that. What's been happening while I've been away? Have I missed anything?!

    Xx

  • Hi everyone :hello:

Updated my sig.. And have paid off 20% of my total debt!! :j :j very pleased with that. DD isn't well, so we've been to the GP, who basically said that her tummy pains - which are so severe she's in tears - are the beginning of puberty :( I've dosed her up with paracetamol, and given her a hot water bottle but there's not a lot else I can do :( Hate it when she's poorly. Hopefully another day or two and it'll ease.

I must visit more often - you're doing brilliantly :j

Echo Hummingbird with having a lovely hols, but poor DD - and awful to see our kids like that when there's little we can do :( Hope it settles down soon.

    Hi Step!!

Just checking in with you. So glad to see you had such a lovely time off on your hols! :) you deserve it!!

Sorry sorry sorry for DD in more ways than you can imagine. I started puberty late with a bang and from then on my life has been a disaster in that area. If those tummy pains continue each month, please push and push to take her to see someone. It took me 6 years and 2 operations to get a diagnosis of endometriosis and in that time the pain increased each and every month to the point I couldn't even ride a bike because it felt like my insides were being tugged apart. Turned out they were... the endometriosis had stuck everything together inside me and they have to repeatedly burn it off with lasers and whatnots. I sincerely hope that with DD it is just normal pains and she will be able to get on with them, but if not, and as her mum you will know... just push to see someone. And take notes of things, cycle length, flow.. yuk sorry, but seriously it took so long and so much effort fighting... I had to beg, in floods of tears for an operation just to see what was going on. They were a bit sheepish once they had done so, but it doesn't really make up for the years of thinking I was making it up.

Amazing news on CC1!! Not far to go now!! :D xx
