Time to step up to the plate..

Hi abba thank you
Spendy day today  I dropped my phone on Thursday, in the middle of a busy and stressful day. So today I had to get the screen replaced. Bye bye £90 :eek::eek: luckily there's room in the budget... But a shame as I'd earmarked it for OPs. While I was waiting for that to be done I went for a wander around the shops.. And bought a new hat for when I walk my footpaths. I'll also be able to use it when we go on our holiday in 5 weeks' time. It was reduced in the sale to £12.
Dad seems a bit brighter today, he's complaining of being boredso I've got some jigsaws for him for Father's Day.
And the new phase of the diet is going really well! I'm 3lb down so far this week, and it's all so yummy! Steak in a cream sauce last night. I'm having a takeaway curry tonight (Dad is paying) and I'm going to have tandoori chicken and a salad. Nom nom nom
Another small OP made to CC1.
Hope everyone else is doing ok? I do appreciate you all reading and supporting, very much xxLBM 1st Feb 2015 £18182 to go

Hello you!!!
Glad to hear dad is still on the mend. As for 3lbs!!! Amazing, and well deserved!! You've gone through the worst bit, now to reap the rewards. Has your energy spiked? I cannot under any circumstances touch fruit. Especially dried fruit. A couple of cherries is all it takes for my weight loss to stall. It is harsh but I have to stick to veggies, the darker green the better at first and I have been able to slowly add in the odd thing here and there. Everyone is different, but if your weight loss stalls, kick the fruit, and if that doesn't work, kick any caffeine. Those are the 2 most common things!
Unless you're Lilty and you have a bender day and eat a few chips, half a tonne of sweets, an ice cream and some toblerone. If you going to do it... do it properly, etc etc:o:o
Not such fun news on the phone front. I nearly dropped mine doing some rather overenthusiastic side stepping in the park. Luckily the headphone jack didn't give way and it was just dangling by my ankle from my ears.. phew!! £90... I'd cry!
Yay for the curry. Good idea. I may have to try that although indian is the one I find easiest to fakeaway so tend to go don the chinese route! Which is a decided no-no.
Big hugs to you! xxx

Hi Steppie, great news on your dad and the overpayments!
Boo to the smashed phone
Your sig is looking amazing ! Keep going0 -
Thanks DFB!
It's been a really stressful week, work wise, so I'm very pleased to report that I've stuck to the diet, and it's going well. Still at 3lb down, but I'm happy with that for now. Dad continues to progress, slowly, and has booked his flight home for Tuesday which I think might be a bit soon really.
DD did her taster day at big school (secondary) which she was hugely nervous about, but that went really well too :T thank goodness!
Money wise not a lot has happened. No such thing as a NSD here unfortunately. I've done another couple of OPs to CC1, but mostly I'm waiting for the holiday let payday, which will be on Tuesday before I can make any significant OPs - once I've taken out the money for HMRC of course
Today is mainly tidying, housework, gardening. Tomorrow I'm doing overtimefor which I will not be paid but I can take the time off in lieu, which will come in handy over the summer. Hope everyone else is planning on enjoying the weather xx

Hi everyone
S l o w progress here, which is a bit disheartening. The holiday let money wasn't as much as I'd hoped, so no large OPs this month. Still, I have made some and that's better than nothing! Full sig update to come tomorrow on the 1st.
My goals for July are:
- to try to have some NSDs
- to make lunch more often
- keep up with keto!
- enjoy my hols (we go last wk of July)LBM 1st Feb 2015 £18182 to go
