We're all so relieved lilty.. It's a fairly routine op all things considered but it's the first surgery my Dad has ever had and he was very nervous (& trying v hard not to show it). He was euphoric yesterday afternoon - a combination of relief and pain medication I think
and today he's still very happy. Tomorrow I think the boredom will set in
and then I'll know he's really back to normal! Oh, and we skyped Mum while I was there so that she can see him, she stayed in Portugal as they've got a dog (TessDog's brother). I think she was very happy to actually see him, they have spoken on the phone, but it's not quite the same xx LBM 1st Feb 2015 £18182 to go

Thank you MeandO
as I suspected, when I went to see him this morning he was in a bit of pain, and complaining
This afternoon the consultant said he could come home, so he's now shuffling round the house, very glad to be home, and still complaining
so he's alright really
he's eaten a good tea, and I expect will be in bed very shortly. I'll miss BC tonight so I can keep an eye on him
