I haven't even opened mine. Feeling positively saintly, but as it is a special day tomorrow then I might pluck the courage. Unless I feel scared and then that would ruin the enjoyment and I am better off leaving it for 6 weeks. Lol.

I weigh in on Monday on a big machine that does my heigh, weight and even blood pressure and pulse on a little cuff :D it is free at the Dr's so a little walk to get there but I will go after I have done the dentist straight after dropping Jellytot off :D

  • I'll weigh tomorrow.. We'll see! Losing weight would be wonderful, but having more energy is the main goal. And eating mainly paleo/primal seems so logical :)

  • Morning! Ok.. Deep breath.. I'm 203lbs (14st 7) so I need to lose a whopping 3 st :(at least Right. We'll do it together! Reckon 1lb off over the 5 days or so that I've been doing it so far, but that includes 2 lunches out (still being paleo) so I think that's ok.. Isn't it? No plans for eating out this week, and I've got the Blacklight run in Cheltenham on Saturday so lots of exercise planned :D
Money wise, did several OPs over the weekend, and am planning another on Thurs when I get paid from the holiday let. Fully booked til mid July now :D which makes me very happy. I'll update my sig properly on Thurs but it should be very close to the 4s :T

You're all putting me to shame with your diets!
I've been completely off the wagon this past week, but have everything planned out and portioned for today onwards now. I'd be happy losing 2-3 stone too, so count me in on the diet train. :D

Steup, I briefly looked at the Paleo diet last month. It sounded brilliant, but it scared me - do you find it difficult or expensive to stick to?
Lilty, I am in awe of your self control and willpower, please send some my way.. pretty please? :D

  • Hi MeandO :hello:

Paleo seems pretty straightforward so far, just natural food, nothing processed, and no grains/wheat/legumes. I'm reading (nearly finished) The Primal Blueprint, which gives a pretty good case for avoiding sugar/wheat/carbs generally. It is a bit more expensive in that you have to buy lots of meat/fish, but then you aren't buying potatoes, pasta, rice etc, so it sort of evens out. I'm thanking my lucky stars that I have chickens, and that they are laying well!!

Today's OP (aka Stepup skimmies) £7.40 to CC1. Proper sig update on Wednesday.

Hugs all.. Thanks for reading. I do appreciate it so much xx

Great news on the holiday let :T and the OPs.

Really interesting reading on the foods front and it's more energy that I'm after too. I read about the Paleo diet as one to look at, looks like a good step to take after finding that Gluten Free is making quite a big difference. Shall keep up with your findings :D

Hmm, think I may start looking into the Paleo thing Stepup. I don't really eat much processed food anyway, and tend to avoid pasta/potatoes. I do eat bread, but it is the skinny nimble loaf which lasts me about 10 days (slices frozen individually ;)), so it'll be no big loss there. Only thing is, I don't eat fish...
