So my bill should have been around £200 not £300?
Why do you think it was £100 more?
Overall in your opinion do you think my £300 bill was correct?
Do you think I am getting a good deal on my gas bill? Or should I look elsewhere?0 -

you're mixing elec up with gas
9 kwh of electricity
if the meter is measuring cubic metres (m3), then 1035.xxx -1022.xxx is 12.372 cubic metres = 138.82 kwh gas, which isnt cheap if your paying >4p/kwh gasDon't you dare criticise what you cannot understand0 -

So you think my bill is probably right? And it was so high cos it was so cold the last month?0 -
Your 9 kWh is for electric only which is the average UK daily use.
Your daily gas use is between 127 and 168 kWh. The bill is correct for the meter units used but as I pointed out you are paying at least 30% more for your gas than you need to, BG have the dearest fixed tariffs out there - I would have paid £220.95 for that bill and I am not on the cheapest available - that would have been £200.85 !0 -
you're concentrating on the money.
either you used the gas and elec in the specified period, or you didn't. if you supplied the correct readings at all points, and they are in the correct units, and they match the bill, then assume the bill is correct - the way it's laid out on this forum is too messy for my head to comprehend
It does say quarterly bill amongst your postingsDon't you dare criticise what you cannot understand0 -

Which company would give me the cheapest deal for my gas do you think or how can I find out. Is there anything from my Bill which I could take and say to another company, ok this is what I use, how much would you charge me? Or is there anything I can use from my Bill on a website and type it in and it will tell me who would be the cheapest supplier for me and how much cheaper it would be?
How do I know how much KWH I use per month so I can tell other companies to see how much cheaper they will be? etc
I have a Thermostat Wireless, what settings would you guys have yours on to save money but not get too cold.
this is my thermostat

if £100 /month is the average, then you will use far more than that in winter and less in summer, but a £300+ bill in 37 days sounds like you have it on 24/7, if so turn it off when out or asleep and buy a hot water bottle.
uswitch amongst others do comparisons, you'd have to look at your last years bills to get a good gas comparison quote, but your electricity usage should be fairly static year roundDon't you dare criticise what you cannot understand0 -
Yes it was around £100 per month until I switched supplier 6 weeks ago, they told me they were cheaper, but obviously not.
Well I dont know how to work the Thermostat really so have it to come on at various times during night/day. uswitch I will look them up.
How much do you have your heating on? and what temperature for it to come up too? or not to fall below?0
