OK there's the comedy element to the 50 shades stuff, namely this woman going from virgin to !!!!!! star quicker than Usain Bolt on a running track, but there's a lot of dark stuff in there too, for instance the scene where the woman is tied to the bed and whipped.

I can see why campaigners are concerned about it.
