Well apparently apart from being a disturbingly dysfunctional control freak, Christian Grey is jawdroppingly handsome and his trousers hang in a certain way (don't ask) so if you do go with this lass, be prepared that you may come out of the cinema feeling quite inadequate. I would say it is not for the fainthearted male or anybody who likes quality writing or films. She has asked you either because she has no-one else to go with and/or she hopes for some randy time with you afterwards as alluded to earlier but do not assume this means that she wants to be tied up and beaten whilst having a plastic bung placed where the sun doesn't shine (although she might!).

Eugh, you're totally missing the point here Kingslayer. It's not about the the content of the film or book (which, we all seem to agree is vomit inducing) & subsequently her taste in entertainment, it's the fact that a girl who you've been seeing (exclusively or not) for around a month wants to go and see what she probably considers a bit of a kinky film with you - most likely not so you can get tips or objectify women, but because it's probably a little bit naughty/romantic and she wants to start sharing these experiences with you.

If you like her then grin and bare it for 90 minutes & you'll make her happy (always a winner at the beginning of a relationship). If you're not bothered about her then don't go & make it clear you're not fussed about having a relationship with her - simples.
