Although my switch went okay I've now switched to the Eon deal through the MSE big switch. For me there is too much uncertainty with GB Energy and I assumed the website would be fully functional which it isn't. I'd rather be with a supplier that has a fully functioning website and online account.0

Online account management is over-rated for utilities, price is all important. There's not much , if anything, to manage, it's not like a bank account. I have GB energy for electricity and Zog for gas, both allow you submit meter readings online and they email a statement every month. Telephone support if you need it and Zog reply to emails almost instantly. Good enough for me, I'd never go back to one of the big companies.0 -
eon is cheaper for me so i also switched0

Eon was £10 cheaper after cash back plus the tariff was fixed :money:0

Joined GB Energy in August. Switch very simple, no problems. Website been easy to use, with none of the problems people were describing a few months ago. Not getting masses of communication back from them but I optimistically assume this means all is well.0

We are way to busy to do this even though they are cheap compared to others
Do you watch TV, do it during a commercial break, if you have Sky you can probably do both Gas and Electricity and make a coffee during one break"Dont expect anybody else to support you, maybe you have a trust fund, maybe you have a wealthy spouse, but you never know when each one, might run out" - Mary Schmich0 -
I'd never heard of this company until about 5 minutes ago when i was checking my email and I see i've received one thanking me for deciding to switch to them?!? Nope, didnt do that, quite happy with my current supplier. Looks like these guys should be wearing spurs and a six-shooter...0

Switched back in April when their quote was the cheapest. So far no problems with the switching process and costs (dual fuel) down. HOWEVER web site is hopeless by which I mean I can never log on and always have to go through the 'reset password' process. This does not always work either (the link sent by email doesn't arrive), so end up having to provide the monthly readings by phone call. Almost changed supplier again when the deal with EON came up, but couldn't face the hassle - big mistake maybe. Will wait for next good deal then switch unless their web site improves (I have contacted them several times & always get the answer that they will look into the problem).0

Been waiting to switch over since 8 June and still having problems been promised phone calls updates 3 dates but nothing has happened. Been told lies and plenty of excuses. Would not recommend.0

Switched over on 16th September. All went well. We have 'smart meters' so no hassle getting meter readings to submit each month. If their quote is reasonably accurate I will save £31 a month on dual fuel and we are low energy users. Time will tell. I've contacted their customer service via email twice and received prompt replies.0
