Try the snowball calculator here, this will give you a DFD.

Try to pay the minimum on all debts plus throw any extra funds at one particular debt until it's cleared. With all your debts being at 0%, you could start with the lowest balance debt first. This in turn will give you motivation when it finishes.

If you really have £141 left after everything then this will speed the process up for you along with the sales you make on the various selling sites. Although a SOA very often needs tweaking after the first time.

Do you not have a mobile phone at all? Not even a PAYG.
Is the amount of £1 accurate for medical/prescriptions?
    No TV licence?
    No contents insurance?
    No Christmas/birthday presents?
Think about an EF, this will help you not to spend further on cards if you do have an emergency situation. It's surprising how often they crop up.

It will be hard, it will be a long slog but keep posting here and read other diaries, this will give you motivation and show you some of the other large amounts of debt that have been tackled and beaten.

    Chin up, all the best

Once you tweak your SOA and allocate every penny for a purpose you will feel more positive as you will see the debts coming down.

It may be slow, it will be hard but you will start to see the results and this in turn will give you motivation to keep going - it will then become habit and also exciting. Read some of the other diaries on here, some people have had huge amounts owed but once they start their DF journey, all other things start to fall into place.

The most cost effective way to attack it is with the OP (overpayments) on the debt with the highest interest rate first, if all your debts are on the same interest rate then the smallest balance normally gives the biggest boost in this situation as it is one debt to be 'ticked off' the list sooner.

I genuinely wish you all the best with your journey. Please do come back and update us. I'm sure you will get through this in time.

One thought - feel free to ignore.
All your ideas for treat days seem to involve shopping of sone sort. Which isn't necessarily that helpful when you're skint - I always end up spending more than planned.
I'm not saying don't have treats, god knows we all need something to keep us going, but what else do you get enjoyment from? Just wondering if taking the treat focus away from shopping and on to something else might make you feel a bit better at times?
Are you one for the great outdoors?
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.
  • Your SOA says you owe a friend 225 and you pay back 200 - does this mean the friend will be paid in just over a month?

The extra 200 should help clear some of the other debts quicker

    Good luck
