Well done on clearing a debt!!! I've just cleared my first one this month too and it's a great feeling!
I loved Nora's advice about being your own best friend - I may steal this from your diary too (I'm the one who stole your clear out list - not that I've actually done any clearing out yet!) Well done for your e bay efforts! Even if it doesn't seem a lot - all these little bits seriously add up so keep at it!

Hello lovely! I'm back from my holidays and wanted to pop in and see how things are going.

You've done a great job in paying off your friend. How lovely of you friend to give you the loan and how amazing to have paid it back now.

It does get low at times, and that's to be expected. You do all this hard work to sell things and get some pennies in and then you splurge, but that happens a lot with the best of us. What you'll find though is that your time between splurges will get longer and longer, but they are likely to still happen. It's ok! You've paid a debt off and it's good to keep remembering that when you're feeling low.

If we started to pay off debts and then stayed totally focused and on track throughout the whole process then how would we know to appreciate the high points????

So, what plans did you make for the weekend? Or did you decide on a quiet introspective weekend? OR, did you reborrow that money back from your friend for a really heavy weekend and are currently lying in a drunken stupor, wondering who the hot toddy is lying next to you??? ;)

    MT x
