Morgan Stanley CC 3% cashback NOT BEING HONOURED

Calling them every two days now about it, and have now given them 14 days or I file a claim with moneyclaim.gov.uk
Here's hoping I don' have to, but I will if necessary as it's the principle of the matter now.43580 -
That's what I threatened them with, but it's always a bit of a gamble on whether you'll win or not. Also, there's the court fees of about £35, IIRC.
Good luck!0 -
I rang them yesterday about an unrelated matter (they had charged me interest on an item I had in dispute - check your statements!).
I mentioned the triple cash back, she tried fobbing me off, with 'check your next months statement', we are aware of the problem etc. I explained that I was a bit tired of these comments.
I suggested she just credit my account with the missing amount, she said that I would have to put it in writing. So I will have to do that now.0 -
I just faxed my stuff off to the FO.The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0

Well, I'm in a state of shock, just rang to find out if my account was showing the correct cashback amount (inc. 3% bonus) and it was! They are sending me a cheque for the full cashback total (in muliples of £15) but will take upto 28 working days. This could be another delay tactic by them to keep me off the phone for another 4 weeks but hopefully the cheque will actually arrive. FYI, I have had to write 2 letters of complaint over the past 3 months and made a phonecall rouhly every 2 weeks so fingers crossed my patience has finally paid off. Maybe you can tell from my tone that I'm not very confident the cheque will arrive! Seems to good to be true (seems funny saying that - I was only asking them to do what they promised when I applied for the card!). Fingers crossed for the rest of you ......0

I'm also shocked as I had a look at my most recent statement online (Septembers) and they've given me £67 cashback just for this month alone!! Which pushes my cashback up to about £110! This is on top of the £45 "credit adjustment" they added to my account
Woohoo!:money:0 -
Just got my latest statement. My extra cashback has finally arrived!
Looks like they have, at long last (how many months!?!?) fixed their system.
Right..time to cash it in and crank up the capital one card!

Oh good, only another six years then before mine comes through as well...
Anyone else had theirs and successfully claimed it?0 -
Not yet. No acknowledgement of receipt from the FO (Who do you complain to, if they don't cut the mustard?) and just another "Sorry we've taken 28 days (and the rest, guys!) but we need another 28 days" letter (to write a f*ck*ng cheque?!) from Bob the Goldfish.
PS. Acknowledgement of receipt from the FO has been received. The acquisition of wealth is no longer the driving force in my life.0 -
Morgan Stanley have also quietly ! put in an annual £20 fee. Look at the box on the back of your statement.0
