I started a new M.S. card at the beginning of last December, but I only had the triple cashback for the first month, not for the next two (up to £2k). I have phoned every single month since February, (up to September), and they keep on saying there is a systems problem, but it will be fixed in the next two weeks and be corrected on my next statement...

Eventually I wrote to the Customer Services Manager at the beginning of November, and today (!) received my latest statement showing a credit for
    the £32 owed to me.

It was definitely worth writing a letter, which got my issue into the formal complaints process, and I did get regular "still working on it" updates

My last statement just came through and I seem to be getting 1% cashback and I'm not being charged any annual fee. Is this normal? People on this thread haven been mentioning 0.5% cashback and £20 annual fees!?

Called Morgan Stanley to cancel my card this week and it took over half an hour to get them to cancel it. They wouldn't agree to cancel the card because they wanted to keep me as a customer blah blah. It went on for ever.
When I said I had other cashback cards, that's when I really got their attention. I was told I should keep the card because 'they might bring out a new cashback card in future, as a reaction to the other higher-end cashback paying cards'. Don't know how seriously to take this bit of 'info', but there might be something in it, hence my post.
Anyway, I declined and told them that their card was not paying me enough cashback either way.

Following the 'alert' from Martin (and reading the posts and here) I checked my cashback and noted that like others, I have only had 1% then 0.5% rates, not the 3% introductory rate that I'm sure I signed up for.

Foolishly though I don't seem to have kept any paperwork that has the cashback details on it, and when I rang Morgan Stanley the guy on the phone said (effectively) that the computer said no, and that if believed that I should have been on a 3% rate I'd have to present something in writing from Morgan Stanley...

 Please can anyone help me? Am obviously happy to pay postage and copy costs for a paper copy.

Morgan Stanley Goldfish: they always remind me of the beginning of the TV series "Porridge". I also note the irony in the initials MSG because, just like monosodium glutamate, to much of them gives you a headache as well.
