You've missed out the "in my opinion" there. Luckily most folk like to look at both sides of an argument, and even then don't resort to insults.0 -

I did not think you were a bitter person, but sadly where unfaithfulness comes into play there is no such thing as morals. I never dreamed that i would be a single parent, my ex and i were happy, or so i thought and like you i never dreamed he would be unfaithful, until he met someone else who he preferred that is.
The sad thing is the unfaithful party does not see themselves as doing wrong, they try to make the other person responsible, they all have standard quotes, believe me i am in an online group with a bunch of ladies and a man who have all been through it and our stories are all almost identical.
I thought like you until it happened to me
I am sorry that your ex did that to you but not all men or women are the same. Some do have strong morals and would never be unfaithful. I know I never would and I know my OH never would. We both strongly believe in fidelity and believe being unfaithful is totally totally wrong. I just cannot stress strongly enough how we both feel. The world is over 4 billion years old and yet you somehow managed to exist at the same time as David Bowie0 -

Thank you for the nice comments, it's nice to come back when I need a boost to keep going.
Test result came back looking pretty good, but Dr wants to test one last time to confirm, what a relief I can tell you!
I realised I've come out best, I have my home, our son (who won't have a Barr of his dad due to his behaviour long before he dropped this latest gem) a fabulous supporting family and friends, all he's got is a room at his dad's at the age of 52, and a lady friend who has no idea yet their relationship will fail badly as all his previous ones have, best of luck to them, they're going to need it!
I will be starting a new job next month and looking forward to a more fulfilling life, and possibly a relationship in the future with someone less shallow.
I'm sure I will have bad days, but at the moment I'm feeling positive xx0 -
Glad to hear you are able to be optimistic about the future. I know obviously its hurting inside.., but its so helpful to be able to cling to a positive future and work towards it while healing.0

.... and when you have bad days then re-read the words you have written here to remind yourself of all the positive things in your life.
Treat yourself gently and accept the love and support of your family and friends. Look to your future and all the happiness and new opportunities it will bring.0 -
