he was clearly not the person for you and who you thought he was and that itself is a blessing in disguise for you .

i know seems like you cant function and maybe even dont want to as your feeling hurt and pain with the situation but it will get better and the hurt and pain your felling he will too one day karma is like that

I realised I've come out best, I have my home, our son (who won't have a Barr of his dad due to his behaviour long before he dropped this latest gem) a fabulous supporting family and friends, all he's got is a room at his dad's at the age of 52, and a lady friend who has no idea yet their relationship will fail badly as all his previous ones have, best of luck to them, they're going to need it!
I will be starting a new job next month and looking forward to a more fulfilling life, and possibly a relationship in the future with someone less shallow.
I'm sure I will have bad days, but at the moment I'm feeling positive xx

Sorry to hear you have had such a bad time, but it's great you are feeling so positive now. There will of course be wobbly moments when you wonder how it's all going to work out, but up you tell yourself, I can do this, I'm going to be OK and you will come out smiling.

No definitely no more contact no matter how hard it is, there's no point in hearing that rejection time and time again, I know by his voice he just wants me to go away and never bother him again, so he can have that.
I can revel in the fact that he has absolutely nothing and I have it all, great sons, family, a beautiful home, and a new career, I just need good news next week at the hospital, then I can focus on getting over this, at the moment if I forget one thing for a minute Im thinking about the other!

I'm hoping with all I've got it was nothing more than when he told me about her, I took the car keys and he was wrestling me to get them, from me, I think he was digging his elbow into my abdomen to get me to release them, it was the next day I noticed blood when I had a wee (sorry to be so graphic) since then it's been a series of tests and no obvious cause has been found, such as infection. So keep everything crossed for me please.
Read your thread Mandi, wow, liquid nicotine, what kind of person could even come up with such a thing, I'm astonished!
