I love Keswick - really miss living near that neck of the woods. Not sure about your area but the weather here is looking lovely for the weekend (after a v stormy week) so hopefully you'll get some sun. Hope it all goes ok. Will be thinking about you all - in a non-stalker way! :)

Thanks tea, I really appreciate that. :)

The weather is lovely here today, very sunny, seems warm too. I think it's meant to carry on over the weekend, so fingers crossed!

I agree, Keswick is a lovely place. Very touristy and full of outdoor clothing shops (hence today's visit!), but lovely for a nice relaxing stroll round which wouldn't be complete without a visit to the BIG sweetie shop and Cornish Pasty shop of course! :D

When my Mam had to go to the cottage hospital for her eye appointments, me and my Dad would either go down to Crow Park or the Stone Circle. Last time we were there (stone circle), there was a guy in a red gimp suit! Typical art student (can spot them a mile off, used to be one!), when I said to his embarrassed parents "art project?", they seemed so relived that at last someone understood why they were stood there watching a guy in a red gimp suit positioning himself between the stones! :rotfl:

I wonder if the PPR is permanent? Sometimes they are only for a certain amount of time aren't they?

    Hope she's ok?

Had a quick squizz at the last few posts and they were just non-offensive comments on this thread. Unless there was an argument somewhere else that's been deleted maybe? Maybe elections emotions ran high in the Arms! Really hoping it's just a temporary mix-up and everyone's back soon.

On an election note - am v pleased to see Farage hasn't won a seat. Let's hope he sticks to his promise to resign now.

I wish Al Murray had got that seat though.

I stayed up until 3.45am as the exit polls and early results looked like producing an unexpected result, but the results were coming in so slowly that I realised I had to go to bed long before any real indication of the final result was possible. Came in to work an hour late at 9 but still very tired (not complaining, entirely my own fault! :o )

    And he has ...

And Nick Clegg too, and looks like Ed Miliband will be gone today. Can't ever remember this much carnage in the upper levels of political parties after an election before.

Nor me - certainly not when we've spent the last few months (if not years) being told how close it would be. It honestly never occurred to me that anyone would win outright.

    Miliband's gone too now.

I think Nigel Farage will be back in a couple of months though. His 'resignation' was very weasley.

I'm avoiding the radio this morning - too depressing.
