Ohh I LOVE rare steak! I'm one of those snobs who shudders when an eating companion orders well-done...you may as well eat a burger if you're going to waste good steak
Penguin reply to Pyxis!:
I've eaten crickets. They taste nutty.
Feel better soon, code.

The last All in the Mind programme on radio 4 said had something about a new way of stopping earworms, and I did wonder if it would help with voices. Not had chance to listen to it yet though, did anyone else hear it?
I have just discovered one of my favourite coats has a hole where the pocket used to be. Thanks Gitdog. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Almost every med they tried on me caused dreadful constipation. Why is there such a strong link between the mind and the gut?
My psychologist is heading me in a direction I need to go, but am worried by, and my bowels have gone to pot.0 -

Totally agree about the steak. It needs to be pink in the middle. I have a friend who got thrown out of a restaurant in Paris after sending her steak back to the kitchen 4 times for being too rare because she will not eat it if its the slightest bit pink and the French are not happy about well done steak.
I actually feel ok aside from some tummy cramps but I do have to be in the office today so a bit worried about how that'll be - the ladies toilets are a total mess. They get cleaned every day but there's someone who comes in and destroys them. Today that will probably be me! :rotfl:Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Your day with the birds sounds fabulous WaS! What a beauty Jilly is!
I now really want to bake bread after all this talk... I'm not a great baker though so I'm sure the whim will be short-lived!
I don't really have any issues with eating apart from being super picky and not liking fruit or salad veg! And oh my goodness, if something on my plate touches, and is therefore contaminated by, cucumber, I'm Not Happy! My friend is the type who will eat her food in sections like Melly, and she always saves the best bit 'till the end but then I always wonder what if she gets too full and misses out on her favourite bit because she filled up on the boring stuff?!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

I know this is geeky and sad but I am tempted! Although I think we won't end up with a definitive result for a few days yet.
I am genuinely excited0 -

Tempted. But probably not. My local mp has a massive majority and a massive bank balance as he's one of the biggest expenses claimants. 329000 last year.
But it's going to be very close. I didn't vote for him. Id rather do a bush tucker trial.
But if he does get back in I'll just need to celebrate another local mp getting her jotters. I live in a very poor area and they do nothing for people as I found out from bitter experience when I really needed help and he told me to go away.
Another party did help out and they got my vote
Not just because of that. Fingers crossed0
