I can't even put gravy on roast dinners, I make a little pool of it on the side of my plate to dip things into when I choose to.

I have to have lashings of gravy on a roast dinner.

And mint sauce not matter what the meat

    Yours

When I eat curry, I eat the sauce with the rice or naan bread and leave the meat or vegetables.

Yay, you do it, too Melly!

I love mint sauce too, calley. In fact I get teased by Wasp because I have a sauce of some kind with just about everything I eat. A sauce tucked away in the corner where it can't touch anything until I want it to!

We would be ideal eating companions, code! I'll have the lumpy stuff, you have the sauce!

I have to keep wet food separate. Bit at the same time I try to build walls so liquid can't spread on my plate lol. The worst for me is the thought of a fried egg leaking onto my plate....the horror!!

But that's the best part. Mopping up the yolk with a tattie scone. Nom.

I could dip things into the yolk, but if it escaped the confines of the egg and touched the plate I'd not be happy!

Hahahahaha! I always eat the yolk of a fried egg first, tea so it only escapes onto the white, like you I couldn't have it on the plate where it might touch other food! In restaurants where gravy turns up on the food I have been known to carefully shake it off items and make mash potato walls to hold it in. I love gravy and sauce on food as long as I have the choice of when to dip things into it.

WaSp always stirs his rice into his food and I don't look! I can't even put gravy on roast dinners, I make a little pool of it on the side of my plate to dip things into when I choose to. When I have curries I use a slotted spoon to serve them and shake the excess sauce off so each part is just lightly covered with none pooling on my plate. It's probably some weird OCD thing, knowing me!

You'd hate what I do then! Chips, roast dinner etc swimming in gravy or curry sauce!

I love it when the egg yolk mixes with the tinned tomatoes! Yummy! :)

I'd be disowned as a northerner if I didn't mop everything up with bread!
