Morning my Dears,
I had a good nights sleep and woke before the alarm. lay in bed reading for about 45 mins.
Went for a walk and popped in for 15-20 mins to see my husband. Will meet up later properly for a coffee or a drive.
Come home and put on some washing. Did you know that should wash jeans every 5 wears!!!!
Did some washing up and now eating a very late breakfast of greek style yogurt, berries from the freezer and good dash of cinnamon.
Hope to get my jeans that I was wearing this morning dried in time to go out at 3ish. As I only have one pair :rotfl: don't fancy wearing a dress today. Don't feel very girly

Ooh I've heard that you shouldn't wash jeans very often at all. I have to because I inevitably spill something down myself or if I wear a clean pair of jeans I will meet a dog who will jump up at me with muddy paws.
You make me feel lazy. I am still in bed having cuddles with DA dog.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

We would do that or use bread bags.
As children we lived away from the rest of the village so had to play with my two brothers or go to my grandads farm and play in the scrap yard he had

I have just taken up an amazon prime trial for a month. And they have 6 series of Castle on instant video.

Tell you something. I've been out with some folk who really were not very nice because I've just felt so awful about myself. The only thing I can say thats positive is thst I met someone last year who I liked and I thought the feeling was mutual.
He emailed me, asked to see me. I would have been happy going for a drink. He took me to a restaurant and spent far too much cash on me and then told me he was dating someone. I ran a meet up group and we were all in it.
She was called pauline as well. Anyway she binned him, I thought, try and stay mates, but the couple of times I met him after that he did something to upset me and it was deliberate.
So I left the group (loads of other dramas going on to make me reach that decision) and politely told him to get lost.
10 years ago I'd have made excuses for the poor behaviour and stayed friends for a longer time period.
Therefore no matter how much crap self esteem I think I have it must be rising because I won't put up with someone treating me badly.
Not men, not friends, not anyone. Been on the receiving end too many times.0 -
That sounds familiar, Pauline. One reason why I left a group was because of how I was being treated. The coach actually turned around and said someone's behaviour was ok because he has mental health issues. Harassment is never ok. Regardless of what your mental state is, harassment is never ok, ever.
I've now left the group and couldn't be happier. Yes, I'm hardly seeing anyone now; (I attend a music group once a week; but taking a break because of health issues) but I couldn't be happier.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Oh Pauline you have had a carppy time of it all.
I don't bother with people who don't bother with me. I had a "friend" and I knew she was using me so I the friendship go. Bumped in to her a couple of years ago. And thought ok lets forget the past and try again. And blow me if she did not do the same thing again. Only on her terms and only when she wanted hand and no one else to help her. Not heard from her in months. I have binned her number.
Same with the bloke I am in love with. He has messed me around and been a massive pain in the bum. I understand to point as he has been badly hurt. Anyway he has gone off and said give me 6 months to sort himself out. Do I think I will ever hear from him again no idea. Just going to get on with my life. If he comes back then he is going to have to prove to me with out a shadow of doubt that he wants a relationship with me. Other wise I will bin him. Unless I meet someone between now and september.

BTW I offered to pay my share of the meal and asked him to come to the town I live in so I could take him out to say thanks. He cancelled on me with less than 24 hours to go. We then rearranged for the following week and he cancelled on me again at very short notice so I agreed to go into Glasgow to see him for a drink on one of the wettest days of the year, think wring your socks out material. He then left me sitting in the pub on my tod to go to a meet in the group that someone else was hosting that I had opted out of going to because I was meeting him.
Without telling me. He told me by email at around midnight that he had gone to the meet (in Glasgow). Not a suggestion that I go, just odd.
That was the last straw after trying to be mates after the let's meet tell me over the main course that you are dating someone. She dumped him the same night.

I walked 11 miles yesterday delivering supporters letters for the party I'm voting for. Mainly because of badly signed Street signs. I offered to do one area as my gran used to live there. Nightmare. No numbers on the door that had the letterbox. So having to stand and count the numbers of houses in to remember where to post them.
One area nearby all the houses were placed in a square. So house number one could be next to house number 122. And of course not all supporters live near one another even if they are on the same Street so putting out 70 letters took me around 4 hours
More to do tomorrow and I'm going to be part of the team on polling day that gives lifts to the less mobile. I don't drive so I'm going to be the door knocker.
More letters going out tomorrow as my legs are too sore to contemplate it today.
Was speaking to someone at the local hub and he told me out of 1000 party members 10 folks have been doing the leafleting, all over 70. Can't get the younger folks to do it.
Surprised that at 46 I'm one of the youngest folks helping out with the leafleting0 -
heh, Pauline, I wonder if you're leafleting for the same party I'm a member of. I'd love to help out with fhe leafleting but I work in the public sector and I'm not allowed.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0
