Random comment alert..... my diary at work has a 'fact for the day'. Today's is that Ayrton Senna died on this day in 1994. I'm a big fan of F1 and remember it well. Not least because I was with my first boyfriend. I can remember sitting on the sofa and being v pleased when he finally put his arm round me.

Slightly disturbed to realise that was 21 years ago!! 21 years of boyfriends and husbands and I'm still no good at it :rotfl:.

If its any consolation Ive had almost 30 years of bfs and I'm no good at it either.

    Adult mental health services suck.
Short of taking him to A&E i am getting nowhere

To say they suck is a complement. I've got iller fighting to get what I need. There are a few shining exceptions, but most of their staff round here are so disheartened by cuts and reorganisation. Being fobbed off just confirms to me that I'm not worth helping.

OH has Severe arthritis in Spine, shoulders, neck, knees and hand, OCD and anxiety, complicated family relationships. Mother has just died.
Due to the running round and stuff I have been doing, last night I fainted onto a steel baby gate he showed no concern, in fact had a go (wouldnt have fainted had I not been caring for cat apparently)
    Today nothing
Frequently and for awhile now has been saying he would be better off dead.
    Needs help
    cant get it

Oh, poor you. And poor him.

How are you feeling today - You must have loads of bruises, as well as the battering your psyche has taken.

What has the GP said about OH's state of mind?

Ribs and knee hurts and feeling sorry for myself mainly.
GP wont talk to me another avenue closed.
I wont get him there is the problem
    he was horrible last night
I pointed out that not checking on me and making sure I am ok is not normal behaviour, to have a go about a cat is not normal behaviour.
To tell someone its their own fault because they need to sit down and havent when your the reason they havent sat down is just horrid
Not a word from him today
    Nothing

That's very hard. You need support, don't you? It sounds as though you are carrying a lot of burdens.

I would have been 4 at the time. (sorry!)

I'm no good at dates. I only remember a cousin's birthdate because it was also the date I was in London in 2011 and I remember two other things happening that day - Mahcester City being United 6-1 and Marco Simoncelli dying.

I only remember (well, I don't, not really!) a cousin's son's birthday because it's also the same date as Prince George. Just don't ask me on which day in July that is!
