Yes, have a briliant time, Pyxis. xxx
Code, are you a pale beige owl, not quite brown yet? (Oooo, I seem to remember there WAS a tawny owl. What are you?) So glad you enjoyed it! xxx
Hope you're getting on OK, WaS xxxx

I've always found it quite a fun way to learn a language. I learnt spanish ( apart from school Spanish) and Portuguese I have both with a heavy emphasis on parts of the body and euphemisms thereof, and then other incidentals, like that I need to drink and maybe eat at some point.
. Plus various words we used in other common enterprises ......sports equipment for example.

Took me a minute to realise you probably meant tea. I was wondering why I was an owl now.
Pyxis, if he's hot enough, who needs to talk?
LIR, you're a tiger aren't you(Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Mauve squeaker cat, who rarely leaves the house alone now she has arthritis, went out this afternoon and had an adventure. She cannot explain where or what, but she is very animated about it. ( I'm guessing she was over in the farmyard somewhere or in the side garden)
She was also playing enthusiastically in the back garden this morning.
. Its really nice to see. She didn't used to like the back garden but now she's really getting braver about it, and was playing out in the sunrise with kiwi dog this morning, which was very sweet. 0 -

Middle aged married woman now. That was how I started learning Italian :rotfl:
The other really effective way is around food shopping......you just go into a supermarket and find a vegetable you don't know local to the country and ask a woman how to pronounce it, and how to cook it, but you need some language to do that. But boy, you learn so much. And its an amazing lesson in society and culture too, as well as cooking!0 -
LIR - that's lovely about mauve cat, i love when they have adventures

Pyxis - ooh v nice, enjoy!
I'm sure there was a tawny owl. Sadly my brownie pack did v little, i got incredibly bored for my last year there but my mum wouldn't let me quit. I was so bored!
Might be crying in bed atm. Over lots of silly things really. Mostly because I have a hospital app tomorrow for my possible ME, then my esa review appointment next week. Tomorrow involves an hours drive each way, my ex is coming with me and I'm so glad he is!
My friend who helped with the form for the esa thinks I should be happy to have the review as it's progress. I'm just terrified they'll say I'm a fraud and should be on jsa, even though I'm barely functional most days. This is all new to me. I've always been very independent and I'm just feeling really upset and low about the next week.
The bf is coming over tomorrow after the appointment, and I'm seriously tempted to cancel on him. Feel guilty wasting his time if I'm just going to be really crap company. This is a stupid emotional overload, and it isn't rational. But it's still scary and it still hurts. just needed to get it out, hoping posting will help me sleep:AStarting again on my own this time!! - Defective flylady! :A0 -
Oops, of course I meant tea. No idea why I wrote code!

Good luck, dragonette! Hope all goes well at review! xxxEx board guide. Signature now changed (if you know, you know).0
