tea, aren't you a bit old for Brownies?
I wasn't in Brownies, but I did become a Girl Guide, in the days of ties with the funny knot that I could never do, and berets. I've still got my trefoil badge somewhere!
Did you have a woggle? I had a woggle.
I also made my own by learning to tie Turks Head knots

I had a woggle when I was in Guides. I recently discovered my complete Guides uniform in a bag under the bed! The funny thing is I've only been in this house 4 years, and it's more like 25 yrs since I was in Guides so heaven knows how many houses I've dragged it around without unpacking :rotfl:. I enjoyed Guides, but it was never as good as Brownies. Just hoping that helping out is as much fun!
When I was in sixth form I helped with Beavers and that was good.
Can't believe how nervous I am though.... they're little girls, how scary can it be?? :rotfl:0 -
That's exactly the one. They have black tongues.
I am feeling a bit blue today. I feel like I need to sob for a while to let the boohoos out but I can't. Maybe I need to watch last week's supervet.
I was in Brownies with the full brown dress, brown belt, brown hat and yellow woggle. I was a sixer but I didn't have a six - I had a 2 because there weren't enough of us :rotfl: Guides didn't appeal to me though.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

I agree with you about the religion, this also permeated the scouts in particular. Could really do without that. I was in cubs, then scouts for a bit - while I still enjoyed it, after about a term at secondary school the amount of homework meant I gave it up as losing an evening each week when you might have two or more hours of homework each day really put pressure on the other evenings. Code - I saw an article on boredpanda earlier about a nurse cat. He stayed at the rescue centre that helped him and now he looks after other injured animals. Some v cute pictures on there! Certainly made me cry

Yes, apparently. I googled 'dog that looks like teddy bear' and got that. I have seen other pics of the teddy bear dog, so I'm pretty sure it's real!
No woggle! We had a tie that had to be tied with a certain special Guide knot, and I always found it really hard to do dunno why.(I just lurve spiders!)
