Can you call your pyschiatrist? If he feels that withdrawal will be damaging to your mental health, he'll be able to tell your GP to prescribe some or do it himself.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

That is ridiculous WaS, I'm not sure if it's possible, but would ringing 111 do any good? They might be able to get a duty doctor to send you a prescription if you explain your MH issues and stress that you're not able to take yourself off to A&E... maybe a couple of little white lies will help things along! I'd also be considering switching surgeries...
Sorry your pain in bad today CodeHope the appointment comes through quickly though, all steps in the right direction!

WaS,
How about calling your Bubbly Bulldozer for advice (and a 'you're worth it boost):heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0 -
Or phone the practice manager and ask that the situation ref withdrawal is looked at again by a doctor - helpful though some nurses are, they have different training so for something like this Id want a doctors opinion. All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

GG - I was also in the era of brown dresses and woolly hats (I made my own, slightly odd-shaped hat and was v proud of it
). The uniforms have been through a few incarnations since then. I loved Brownies - still remember it as one of the happiest times of my life. They had to pretty much kick me out when I got too old. I've been saying for ages that I'd still be there now if they let me, so this is my chance!
Am making some progress on changing things... but oh my, it is scary! When it all seems overwhelming I have to remind myself that none of it (ending things with FOH, new job, expanding social life, etc) can be as scary as the thought of another 50 or so years of the same soul-crushing dissatisfaction with life.

That last paragraph is a good positive way of thinking and sums everything up really doesn't it? I admire you, because personally I hate change, but sometime you've just got to give yourself that push.
I loved Brownies too! I went into the Guides after that which I also enjoyed, but not as much as the Brownies!0 -

Reading others' battles of the moment has calmed me and made what I came to 'vent' about feel lesser. Thank you for perspective my friends.

I liked the Brownies (although I wasn't mad on the brown culottes and yellow sweatshirt combo!
) but didn't last even a month in the Guides because I didn't like the 'big' girls in the group and found it quite intimidating!
When I was around 11-14 I went to Youth Group, but only for the trips out rather than the churchy stuff!
Is it ridiculously sad that I started a new cross stitch last night (first in over 6 months at least!) and I'm already looking forward to my quiet time tonight to carry on with it?!Good job (??) my little craft business is having a lull at the moment so I can spend time cross stitching!

A cute dog who looks like a teddy bear and loves biscuits.... he sounds amazing!
Is this the one?
I've got my first Brownie meeting this evening (first since I was in Brownies, and that was some time ago!) Am so nervous! Maybe I've been overdoing the 'one thing everyday that scares me' approach??
I wasn't in Brownies, but I did become a Girl Guide, in the days of ties with the funny knot that I could never do, and berets. I've still got my trefoil badge somewhere!(I just lurve spiders!)
