Morning Team WaS, hope you all had a lovely Easter :easter_ba

I so enjoyed four days off work - especially as they included an alpaca farm, a national trust tearoom, actual sunshine and a big roast dinner. Downside is that there was serious binging (hiding in the car stuffing cream cakes kind of binging) and I've managed to put on 4lbs in 4 days .

Back at work today, which made me cry :o. Where are the decent jobs hiding??

Don't worry, Tealover. Listen to this........I had a lovely day on Sunday - met a friend for lunch at a restaurant in a very scenic spot, and the meal was very nice indeed, one of the best roast lamb lunches that I'd had in a long time! Followed by a pleasant scenic walk.

On returning home, it was spoiled by a very inconsiderate person parking across my driveway, so I couldn't get onto my front garden to park. Spent nearly twenty minutes knocking on doors trying to find who it was. Found out eventually, and it was a guest of one of my neighbours, who should have known better! By this time I was tired, cold and steaming!
Anyway, that spoiled the rest of the day, and yesterday, terrified by the pile of paperwork I have to do before Thursday, I got dressed, but then went back to bed with food and watched TV all day, yes, even on such a lovely day as it was. Pathetic. :(

I am actually downstairs this morning, but still putting off doing anything. I have a class this afternoon, and AmDram this evening, so that should get me going. Or not! :(

Plus am putting off making phone calls, one for some work to be done, and one for the Gp's nurse.

Plus am going abroad for a few days in 10 days' time, with the AmDram group, so need to organise what I am taking.

Please, someone, stick a firework up my a**se, please!

Why is it all so scary? (To me, that is; it isn't intrinsically scary!)
    Helllllllllllp!

Thank you for posting that Pyxis and Tealover, posts like those make me feel far less 'weird' .

I've been slightly better over Easter as Husband was here but I frequently spend days curled up on the settee , eating, and putting tasks off :(

What really annoys me is I feel people class this as laziness, they wouldn't say that if I had a broken leg or was clutching a vomit bowl but because depression is invisible it doesn't exist for many onlookers :(

    Morning all! :)

WaS, I hope you're feeling better today x

Tea, your weekend sounds such fun! I love alpacas! My Dad got a funny shot of one once mid yawn and it looks like it's laughing! Don't worry about the cream cake blip.

*Lights Firework and outs it under Pyxis!* * BOOM!* I hate inconsiderate people who don't care where they park. People do it all the time at my Mam's. They even blocked me IN once, I mean "can you not see there's a car there that might actually want out?"

AFM, I'm so stiff after Sundays Fell Walking! According to my Fitness Pal, (I just downloaded it the other day after hearing good things about it) we'd done nearly 16,000 steps....that only gave me 271 calorie adjustment though, that doesn't seem much! :rotfl:

Yeah the calories out part seems to add up a lot less slowly than the calories in! :rotfl:

Totally with you oystercatcher - am really struggling with some of the basics at the moment (housework!) It's a double whammy of rubbishness as the state of the place just makes me feel worse, and even less likely to find motivation to do anything about it.

Pyxis - am currently hiding from scary things that shouldn't be scary too. They include sending emails.... how can that be scary?! Sometimes I really get on my own nerves!

Hello all. I have been an exercising codemonkey and consequently am sore from my chest to my feet. Yesterday I did curcuit training and pilates. Today I have done circuits, interval training adapted into my walk to work and have a run scheduled in for lunchtime. This is fuelled from fear that I will not fit in my seat on the plane, disgust at how much I weigh (I am fat and must be punished!) and because my 'lovely' DH had a dream last night that much thinner me had travelled through time to have sex with him and is calling me jabba the gut. So I'm cross, fed up and somehow feeling that if I exercise myself into the ground I will somehow be worth something. Or maybe lose a pound or two.

    code

I am pretty sure that I am larger than you - I am plus sized. I fitted into the aeroplane seat without a seatbelt extender, much to my relief.
:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.

Whaaaaat????? He told you this?!?

If it makes you feel any better (I don't know why it would, but my brain is not working correctly today), I've had to change my MFP diary settings so I can log the amount of crap I've already eaten today without anyone seeing it.

Am waaaay over the day's calories and that doesn't include anything for this evening. Turns out a pasty, a hot cross bun (which I don't even like!) and an entire chocolate bunny adds up to quite a few calories.

Nah, seasonal food has less calories as a gift for the holiday. Hence an easter egg or chocolate bunny has fewer calories than a bar of chocolate and chocolate is from cocoa which is a bean, so one of your 5 a day.
