WaS, how did your Simnel cake turn out?

Simnel cake has been put on hold! I have taken to my bed in a pile of tissues. After flu at Christmas a cold at Easter really just isn't fair. Otherwise all is fine and I have been occupying myself making lists for The Secret Happy Thing.

I'm on a fast day. One of the nice things about FD's, actually, is that they reset your appetite (I really really fancy some Simnel cake!!!!)

But I have some lovely stuff in the fridge to eat tomorrow (a couple of M & S yoghourts really really reduced with granola, will be great for brekkie and I'm sure won't poison me being a few hrs out of date )

I have just done that personality test thingy. Let's just say it's confirmed my scepticism. Either that or I am completely deluded as to what I'm really like. Either is possible.

It reminds me slightly of that horoscope experiment where they showed one write up to a load of people and most of them said it related to them. Must google to remind myself of who conducted it.

Very sunny here so outdoor day today, out and about visiting gardens, then a spot of my own gardening, then a long walk with Gitdog along the canal. He has done himself and me a mischief taking a flying leap after a duck which turned into a backflip when he hit the end of the lead. (His backflip, I hasten to add, not mine.)
Hope all are well, I am just starting on the easter eggs.

So...fuelled by forgetting my meds the last two nights had a bit of a wobble. And Swain kind of was on the receiving end.

I was feeling a bit insecure and told him i was worried that he didn't like me and was just gonna sod off at the first oppurtunity. He asked me if being officially his gf would make that much difference to what we already have, and that in his eyes i was already so no need to worry about him doing a runner. I realised he's done things that really should have made me think that he wasn't going anywhere, he pretty much -plans his week around seeing me, he's put me above going round his mates, he turned down a trip to the seaside just so he could see me the other day , he records the wrestling (!) and resists watching it so he can wait and watch it with me, he always looks after me when i'm round his, pretty much makes sure i want for nothing and always have everything i need, always makes time to talk to me, and his plans for the immediate future always include me. I think i've got so fixated on what other people think (and the dreaded facebook) that i've not taken into account the fact he has pretty much been showing signs he does want to be with me.

in shirt i'm going to try and relax a bit and not put so much pressure on things and just enjoy what we have (oh and i asked about the 10 dates thing ans he said hoestly he's lost track and was just enjoying be with me )
